Sorry about the slow-loadingness of the blog today.

I'm told Blogads is going through some maintenance, and it's not Blogger's fault, so refrain from your usual accusations. The Blogger people — Google — have been great.

UPDATE: I removed the Blogads code and it's loading super-fast now. It makes me think that having Blogads really isn't worth it even on good days.

I did notice it. I thought it was my anti-electric personality having its usual impact on electronics.

Romney is winning Wisconsin, and the Althouse blog goes down.

Thank you for saying this because I was freaking out about my sweet new little air behaving like the old pro and it was making me sad all over again.

I noticed everything stuck loading blogads, but, as I said, most Blogger sites had the same problem.

For those with Chrome, you really should have AdBlock. I don't see any ads on the entire internet, and Althouse loads real fast with that turned on.

I noticed that too. Where I work, we do Internet surveys. When an HTML template tries to reference a CSS or Javascript file that isn't at the address defined, the page will take a long time to load. Maybe they're moving files to new servers and don't have all the addresses updated yet.

If this is fast, I hope I never see a day AA considers slow.

Still slow for me.

Super fast is right.

"Still slow for me."

Try it now. I did one more thing.

Works fine for me now.

I have an older laptop, and your site frequently locks it up. Few other sites do that to me. Just passing along some info.

Wrong thread. That post should be in the thread about the sex scandal coming on Drudge.
