Harry Reid on Mitt Romney: "His poor father must be so embarrassed about his son."

Now, it's like he's just trying to make him mad. Almost 100 days left until election day and things have already deteriorated into a street fight.

Ahhh, I love the smell of desperation in the morning . . . smells like a GOP victory.

Nevada voters trounced Harry's son, he didn't even use his last name on his signs.

It makes you wonder about the people of Nevada. How could they elect such a churlish, nasty, bitter man more than once?

Harry Reid is an embarrassment to the U.S. Senate - and that is saying something!

George Romney was a good guy. Worked his ass off. Turned around companies. Pariotic. Ran for President.

He'd be proud of Mitt, and Mitt knows it.

Reid, however, is a bad person. Rotten to the core.

"“I live in the Managerial Age, in a world of "Admin." The greatest evil is not now done in those sordid "dens of crime" that Dickens loved to paint. It is not done even in concentration camps and labour camps. In those we see its final result. But it is conceived and ordered (moved, seconded, carried, and minuted) in clean, carpeted, warmed and well-lighted offices, by quiet men with white collars and cut fingernails and smooth-shaven cheeks who do not need to raise their voices.

Hence, naturally enough, my symbol for Hell is something like the bureaucracy of a police state or the office of a thoroughly nasty business concern.

Like most leftists when they speak of their political opposition, Harry is projecting.

Harry Reid is a Mormon isn't he? He doesn't act like the Mormon's I know.

it's better than being embarrassed by your father.

Harry Reid's greatest asset as a politician and the reason he is such a successful one is that he has very little shame.

My recollection is that Harry Reid's dad was abusive and his conversion to Mormonism was tied to a relationship with a decent man, a father figure, who happened to be Mormon. I'm sure there is a sizable post waiting out there on this topic and Reid's reference to Romney's dad.

Brian Brown said...

By the way, the tax returns released by Romney refute his idiotic "he didn't pay taxes" claim.

Do these dipshits ever pay attention to what they were saying last month?

Because then it was the rate Romney was paying was too low.

Anonymous said...

"But obviously he can't release those tax returns. How would it look?"

The gall of this asshat! Let me know when Reid/Pelosi decide to release their tax returns. Obviously, they can't release those. How would that look? It would be in your face proof of the crookedness and corruption of the most transparent congress ever.

Andy R,

And you have conducted yourself poorly over the long haul.

I didn't think that it was possible for Reid to become a more pathetic human being but he prove me wrong.

I'm not sure what he is trying to accomplish here. Is he looking at retiring? Does he really believe these school yard taunts will really help Obama?

Fen said...

Ah yes, Harry Reid the pedophile lecturing about a father's shame...

How Machiavellian.
Bring a scurrilous accusation then demad the other person prove it false. Don't we have an assumption of innocence that requires the accuser to prove his accusations?
What a maroon!

Obama released his birth certificate when he didn't have to. Why won't Romney just man up and do the right thing like Obama did?

Sure, Romney can photoshop some tax returns I guess. I don't think the press will let him get away with it life they did with President Lightworker though.

garage mahal said...

Seriously, you morons still think the birth certificate was faked? LOL

I'm with you on this one Garage! So following Obama's timeline. Romney can release them a couple years from now and that will be just fine. You'd be happy with that, right?

Carnifex said...

@Garage

I've got it on good authority you haven't paid your taxes in 20 years. You should release those records to prove you have. Otherwise, your just being hypocritical.

Your father is watching, GM. Make him proud for once.

It's narrative.

Fiction isn't a lie but just part of a story.

Soap opera women, the Democrat audience, are into narrative.

Yes, Romney should release his university records, SAT and LSAT scores. It's called "assymetric warfare".

When I learned that Reid had been accused of child molestation I thought my opinion of him couldn't get any lower. But, turns out I was wrong -- now he's playing the dead-father card.

The Democrats must really be desperate to be pulling this three months out.

Has anyone tracked down those rumors about Harry and the teenaged boys in the shower ? I don't know for sure but somebody told me he...

I never did before, but according to the Harry "Make shit up as I go along" Reid style of politics, it certainly could be.

Pretty rich you calling people morons...

For all the taxes Romney claims he paid, and how overtaxed people like him are, you'd think he would want to show us. I think Romney has already answered the question if he paid zero taxes for 10 years.

Blue Ox said...

Wouldn't it be great if Romney was 100% invested in tax-free Nevada municipal bonds?

Hysterical.

Why, it is almost as if you dipshits don't remember the silly Romney paid less than Obama talking point from 2 months ago.

At that time, there was no question that Romney paid taxes.

It must be fun being a silly dipshit like you.

Of course the silly dipshit doesn't recognize that being a natural born citizen is a requirement for the job of President.

Idiot.

For of the vaunted claims of Obama's intelligence that are in direct opposition to his actions you would think that Obama would want his college transcripts released...

Obama released his birth certificate when he didn't have to.

No, he released it only after being hectored constantly for a couple of weeks by Donald Trump.

It's great fun watching the stupid Democrats try and distract the population from the trainwreck that they have foisted on this great nation.

The only people being fooled are the fools like garage who think Romney's taxes are the issue, not the fact that the nation is a sinking ship and the Obamunists are frantically punching holes in the bottom of the boat to let the water run out.

And calling themselves smart.

Gahrie said...

I'd love to see President Obama's college transcripts and papers that he has spent much time and effort keeping sealed, (unlike every other modern candidate for president) but I'd settle for knowing what passport he used when he traveled to Pakistan.

Because the GOP ran Sharron Angle against him. As the old saying goes...

I think it's funny when people are amused that hacks act like hacks. Mr. Reid is a thoroughbred hack, and by God he puts the rest of them to shame. As one who enjoys the lunacy of our conventional politics, I always look forward to Mr. Reid's next absurdity, and I am never disappointed.

Mary Beth said...

“I am not basing this on some figment of my imagination,” Reid told Nevada reporters Wednesday. “I have had a number of people tell me that.” But he would not expand on his sources. “I don’t think the burden should be on me,” he said. “The burden should be on him. He’s the one I’ve alleged has not paid any taxes.”

"I don't think the burden should be on me." Is he really that stupid?

Also, people keep talking about Reid and his fondness for young boys. I thought worst "hushed up" secret about him was his compulsive shoplifting. He needs to disprove these things so we can move on.

furious_a said...

Obama's economic recovery plan appears to be little more than crowdsourcing audits of Romney's tax returns, and outsourcing the gutterwork to Harry Reid.

How many rounds of golf as Pres. Obama played since his Jobs Council last convened?

Reid is so dim he actually said that without irony. That alone should disqualify him from holding any responsible office. I don't think we need any new laws, but can't we find something in existing law to keep people like Reid from damaging himself and others. A psychologist report, a minimum intelligence test, a breathalyzer, some kind of competency hearing?
