What are they Meade?
It's early for the end of the day cafe. Does this suggest that we all now go to bed. twist and shout.
My Spring Green mother calls them "blackberry lilies" because the seed pod that eventually emerges looks a lot like a blackberry.
Tradguy it may mean we have to behave ourselves until it gets dark out. Then we get to eat catnip and go squirrelly!

That reminds me of the poem, " In Flanders field the poppies blow, between the crosses row on row that mark our place...We are the dead. Short days ago we lived, felt dawn and saw sunset glow, Loved and were loved and now we lie in Flanders field...."
The Ied's in Afghanistan are still blowing up young American men and women. Three more from Georgia were executed this month. The young lady was only 12 when the eternal Afghan Mountain Valley War for nothing was started.

Paper ones, sure.
Yes Traguy, this is so very sad. My daughter is in a safe area there and I am SO grateful for that. She comes home for R&R for my other daughter's wedding in Sept. in Madison. We can't wait to see her safe and sound, unfortunately she will have to go back for a few more months after that.
According to Sam Cooke, we're supposed to be twistin' the night away.

Please use the comments forum to respond to the post. Don't fight with each other. Be substantive... or interesting... or funny.
