Is that where they keep the Blue Dog democrats, both of them?

It's a beautiful picture as usual.

Where is the post on awesome Romney speech? You seemed to be romancing Obama today, what with defending his singing and all.

Settle in for the night?

Looks like Norman Bates lives there.

The speech didn't hit until mid-afternoon.

We gave Commandantwe Zero a good going-over.

At the Oval Room, all the super K-street consultants and the DNC operatives were so very, very happy. We got Mitt just where we want: defensive, negative, angry, etc. We even messed with his VP selection effort. We are playing mind-games with him. This is just the beginning. At the Chicago HQ, we have daily 10-ways to screw the GOP's mind (assuming they have one). You have no idea, how much money we are raising. So, first we make look like a fool. He responds. We use this as a way to make more money. We are invincible. This WH is ours till January 2017. Forget you, Mitt.

I think Romney redeemed himself with that speech. There is more to this guy than meets the eye. I hope people will see it before Nov.

I think they were laying back, watching Axelrod and Plouffe get desperate.

According to this Breitbart piece, not only have the Bain attacks flopped, but the Romster is gaining in several swing states.

Granted, they use the RCP average, which uses a lot of polls skewed to the Demos, anywhere from 5 to 9 points, but it should be kept in mind, even with such an advantage, Choom is still only withing the margin of error.

Well if it is Blue and not White I guess it is OK. Google apparently just removed from it's search index any reference to a White Genocide petition (apparently for some issues in Africa). This isn't the first time Google has selectively removed things from even being searched for.

Expect our response to this Romney speech on Friday, http://www.therightscoop.com/soon-watch-romney-live-in-irwin-pennsylvania/. Our friends in the MSM will take it through the Sunday talk. Mitt will respond, we will use that for fund-raising. We win. We always win.

On a serious note, noting the camel through the eye of a needle should have made J.J.J. think.

It did, but what?

I pity him and thank God I've never had that temptation, surely one we can all call a unique one to us, but historically abundant.

I see right wing internet media darling Drudge is continuing to push insane birther nonsense tonight. Well, what do you expect? Drudge has become fond of garbage like InfoWars.com and Sheriff Joe Arpaio. But Althouse likes to closely analyze the Drudge Report... at least some of the time. She always overlooks this shit. Isn't it time for Althouse to call Drudge out? Well, I don't expect she will, as she's perfectly okay with all the racists and trolls in her comments sections trolling people who dare disagree with right wing propaganda.

I would hope they keep hammering the birth certificate thing until everybody turns blue. I would expect nothing less and disappointed if it would ever fizzle. Hammering away with their chisels and slicing with their chainsaws, wrenching with their screwdrivers and screwing with their torque wrenches. Bloody.

But that is less interesting to me than the railing.

You see, the sky is blue and the sun is gold. So the railing is painted blue and sun design in the center is painted gold. But this is not an ordinary sun, this is a French sun so it gets a fleur de lis, the coolest sign ever, smack dab in the middle of the sun, like the sun king, which in real life would burn a lily to a crisp before it got within two planets but this is arts! and the arts! of the railing are telling us this is a French garden. And the vases are, well, they are clouds in the sky. They are meant to hold something tall but the tall things have been removed or were never there in the first place and we are left with empty vessels, their value is emptiness, by themselves they are shells that contain nothing more substantial than air, their meaning is realized when they are filled with something that is not a vase, not air, or when they are simply being decorative unused containers. Clouds. I am tempted to toss my umbrella into one of the vases if only to bring it all down to functional prose but the umbrella folds up so neatly I'd have to dig it out.

I always wonder what's appropriate to bring up in these posts. The things I'd want to discuss would probably qualify as hijacking the comments.

Jim, the café posts are open threads. It's impossible to hijack. Talk about whatever you want. I usually put up one a day. Feel free!

See? That there is some fuckin' creative fuckin' literary fuckin' criticism.

What would be amazing is if we could bring all the threads together and make a cohesive point!

The South is full of blue dog Democrats and Romney fans, no Psychos. Although that is a good movie, kind of like those awesome cartoons. "Boop Oop a Doop." And speaking of Max Fleischer, you can tell that Mitt Romney has been eating his spinach. You're going down, Wimpy! You never pay us back! All you do is borrow and borrow and borrow! Not like Mitt Romney, who's got some true grit, let me tell you. So it looks like America's Politico is wrong again. Romney is rocking and rolling like the Byrds. That birther nonsense is a distraction. And it's not half as fun as watching Sarah Silverman distract us by doing indecent things with a pink flamingo. While the Byrds play on the soundtrack! But all these distractions are an attempt to change the subject from that internet meme that is popping up. No, not white genocide. White genocide? No, the real internet meme is that damn socialist in the White House. Which reminds us that the answer to ripic's question is Barack Obama. Who is hiding behind the rose garden, and is black and blue all over.

Personally, I prefer my cartoons in color. Except for this one

Now stay on point!
