"Ode to Magritte."

A cool photo portrait... based on this famous painting and this... according to the photographer who can only remember the name of the first one — which is "Rape" — and not the second one — which is called "The Dangerous Liaison."

Looking for the image of "Rape," I got to a blog called WTF Art History — "For everyone interested in art history who has asked, WTF?" There's some amusing stuff there.

Are we sure "The Dangerous Liaison" isn't, in fact, "The Happy Hand"?

Most guys who got a girl built like that would...

oh, well.

Art Afterpieces had a nice collection of altered classics, my favorite being baby Jesus on Mary's lap tearing pages out of the Bible.

"The Great War," speaks more than a thousand photos.

My favorite Ode to Magritte is the cover of Jackson Brown's "Late for the Sky". Maybe it's because I was almost always high when listening to it.
