Last year, my child was told by a substitute teacher that the 911 terrorists really can't be held to account for their killings because it's commanded by their religion.
To your remark on how arguments can be re-purposed in boomerang fashion, it will be interesting to see if Republicans have unwittingly walked the gang-plank in the clamor for "religious exemptions."

Did bull horn dude really come up with all those attributes for Meade just because he said nothing? It's like Meade was communicating with him telepathically or something. It reminded me of hearing one side of a phone argument, or a guy talking to his imaginary Republican fascist friend - every lefty has one.

I'm guessing it has a lot to do with there not being much good news these days for the Pro-Walker/Anti-Union crowd, and so these "blasts from the pasts" are being used to keep 'em charged up going into the recall elections...
