They ARE fools and clowns. All of them, though in different ways.
Except Paul.
A bit OT but the other day I had occasion to look up fundraising for each of the candidates. Of the Repos, Romney is way ahead with Perry at about $17mm then Paul at $12mm. Paul's $12mm is about double the next 2 combined.
But what was really interesting was Obama. He had raised about $93mm in this cycle. He has spent about $96mm.
Two things stand out to me:
1) He is running his campaign fund like the country, on deficit spending.
2) What is he spending it on? I see no TV ads or other stuff.
3) If the campaign is already in debt this early, what does he plan to spend for re-election? *DOES* he plan to spend anything for re-election? Will he run?
(I'll even bet 5 Althouse dollars that he is not president on November 1st)
Is this all in preparation for some monster scam? Will he step down and his successor find that not only is there not a campaign fund, there is millions in debt.
Is the $96mm already in his (and perhaps some other) pockets?
I'd love to see a Sunday morning show that included a random cook, a baker and a candlestick maker. I bet they'd look like wise but practical geniuses compared to the regulars we get now.
They ARE fools and clowns, and are captured by the same Central Bankers as the Usurper. Not only are they fools and clowns, they are committing treason by allowing a non natural born Citizen to ascend to the Presidency. Today they just try and cover for their crime, tomorrow it's lamposts.
I might be willing to bet real money that Obama is not Prez on Jan 20 either because he does not win or because he does not run.
I have a gut feel that he is going to step down before the election. Not a strong gut feeling but an inkling nonetheless.
It may be for his health (He'll have a heart attack or something) or perhaps to spend more time with his family. I doubt that he will say "I am just not up to the job"
Or perhaps, unlikely, but perhaps he will get caught up in the Solyndra, Lightsquare, Corzine, Fast and Furious or other scandal.
I would rate chances of his stepping down at less than 20% or so. But I do think there is a chance.
Ah, I see what you're doing now. The gut doesn't say he will do this, although I admit it's a possibility. Doing so would be tantamount to leading his party directly into the wilderness Donner Party-style. If he's as self-centered as he appears that probably wouldn't matter to him.
"The Republican ideology is one of FOOLS and CLOWNS."
Indeed so. Because EVERYONE knows that promoting unsustainable, future-cannibalizing debt is THE touchstone for the "reality-based community" comprising the idiot Democrats.
""The Republican ideology is one of FOOLS and CLOWNS.""
I would suggest that that statement is probably one of the bigger acts of projection and transference that I have heard recently.
The fools are the ones who shoveled trillions to their constituents, friends, families, and supporters, in the name of economic stimulus, and when challenged why our unemployment went up 2 points after the first Simulus bill was enacted, instead of down as predicted, claim that the reason was that not enough money was so frivolously spent and borrowed. I can still remember then-Speaker Pelosi (whose family's net worth has skyrocketed, as the economy has crashed) getting into the bidding race for Keynesian multipliers, predicting something like a 5-1 stimulative effect. Talk about a fool and clown. But, probably no worse than former Enron advisor Paul Krugman, who espouses similarly, but with a Nobel Prize and Harvard credentials.
"Idiocracy" a glimpse into our future. (love that movie)
@Mick
Save it bro' there are none so blind...Happersett v. Minor defines natural born citizen, but no one cares except for you , me, and Orly Taitz.
Mr. Krugman should watch his language, after all, doesn't it take one to know one?
Since Kruggie believes in the broken window theory of economics, I think we should visit his place of residence and stimulate us some jobs! I'm sure he would be happy with this real world experiment. Just to prove hum right of course.
To the person who suggested a butcher, a baker, etc. I suggest watching cats cleaning themselves is more educational than the clap-trap on these talking head shows. I include the Fox crew in this assessment.(ie. do you think you can do that? Don't know, lets go to bed and see!)
Just give me the fricking news, I can figure out what to think about it myself.

I suspect that Obama is as close as we'll get to President Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho for a while, until Chelsea Clinton is old enough to run.
Has anyone ever noticed that all these guys with PHD's and Nobel Prizes are idiots in real life? Look at all these global warming gurus arguing about warming temperatures of 1% - 2% in 100 years, yet they can't even get the weather right in 3 days?
People like Secy Steven Chu and Paul Krugman probably can't function in a real world situation.

If you have one bucket that contains 2 gallons and another bucket that contains 7 gallons, how many buckets do you have?
So, you're saying that the Republicans are traitors because they haven't pointed out that Obama is ineligible to be president? Your point has been that both parents of a president must be born US citizens, so Obama is ineligible.
Aren't you letting the Democrats off, since they nominated Obama in disregard of your view of what constitutes natural-born citizenship? If I follow you correctly, then the 54 percent of voters who voted for Obama must be traitors, and the majority of Republican voters who ignored your point by not making it an issue are also traitors, then what proportion of the American people are traitors? 85 percent? 90 percent?
So, Mick, what are you going to do? What's the plan?
So, Mick, what are you going to do? What's the plan?
Good luck with that line of questioning. I've been at it for months without an answer. His measure of success, or at least the first discernible one to us, the willing traitors, is a bit hazy as well.
Alex: "Deport all conservatives to Tasmania and save America."
But who, then, would do the work in America? Who, then, would pay the taxes?
I am actually in favor of something like this. We can then buy the country back cheap since we will end up being the country you turn to to borrow from.
Can someone just please run over krugman already? The guy is a fucking boat anchor on the economy himself. His economic policies have been a lynchpin in why we are here now. Fucking little dumb dwarf.

Yeah, I heard that. I immediately changed the channel. I don't need to waste my life listening to such an unserious person.

Anyone have an explanation?
John Henry
Anyone have an explanation?
You might want to ask Michelle.
"The Republican ideology is one of FOOLS and CLOWNS."
Think I'd spell "Foole" with a final "e" just to piss 'em off.
What do the acronyms stand for?
Paul Krugman is what real men and women KNOW looks and acts like a fucking weasel!
(I'll even bet 5 Althouse dollars that he is not president on November 1st)
I'LL TAKE THAT BET!!!
I'd love to see a Sunday morning show that included a random cook, a baker and a candlestick maker. I bet they'd look like wise but practical geniuses compared to the regulars we get now.
I'll take that bet too! Heh,
Scott, AJ, you're on.
Remember, you heard it here first.
Note that I am not confident enough to bet real dollars, though!
John Henry
(psst...John...if you bet anyone real money you might want to change the date to January 20th 2012)

I would rather spend my Sunday Mornings pinching a long weekend loaf.
No Scott,I am sticking with Nov 1.

Did Lurch actually say the proposed cuts were not only terrible but horrible as well? How he looks out for us!
BTW: The heart attack I mentioned might be real but it certainly doesn't need to be.

All right up there with the EU's apparent determination that water cannot be marketed as preventing dehydration.
They said that if I voted for Obama he would turn America into a socialist european welfare state, and they were right!

Has anyone investigated whether Krugman has any connections with the Second Mile charity?
If anyone is an expert on fools and clowns, it would be Krugman. He works with and supports them daily.

How a FOOL and CLOWN like Paul Krugman continues to make a living on what comes out of his mouth should be proof that ANYBODY can make it in America.
