Organizing communities in ChiTown means being a negotiator between hostile gangs over turf. So Obama learned all that he needed to know from the weaknesses and strengths of urban gang leaders. And the strongest gang leader is the one who assassinates the others. In today's DC the turf fought over is the power to print bribe money and to issue regulations against those who do not pay protection money to the outfit. So who will the Obama Gang try to assassinate next?
That sketch epitomizes what has been wrong with SNL sketches for years. They keep going on and on and ON after they've made their point. Enough already.
The only ones who really know if bin Laden was killed because he looked like a threat or not, are the SEALs who killed him.
However, if they had been ordered to kill him no matter what in order to avoid the political embarrassment involved with bringing him back alive, I have a problem with that.
"However, if they had been ordered to kill him no matter what in order to avoid the political embarrassment involved with bringing him back alive, I have a problem with that."
I agree "political embarrassment" would be a bad reason (although him being shot dead like the dog he was would allow me to not lose any sleep over it), but to save the country from dealing with the overwhelming bullshit that would come from caging him, trying him, and ultimately killing him is a very good reason to shoot the fucker, hands up and pleading or not.

The reason they do that is laziness.
It would take twice as many writers and twice as much work to fill their program with skits that end at a reasonable time. They come up with the skits they are going to run, and then they have to stretch several of them to fill their timeslot and sell advertisements.
I would much prefer SNL if they performed their sketches without the stretch, and when they ran out of material, just played Dan Akroyd skits from the good old days.
But then, who the hell watches broadcast TV anymore? It's like landline telephone or dailup internet. Just watch the good parts on the internet, and pick shows on netflix. Flipping to NBC to see what's on? That's how your great grandmother watched TV.
While they maybe jesters, their points are sharp. I doubt they know how to temper their jests. So the left knows how inconsistent their positions are and how fickle they are in their support. How long until they rip into Nader? Time to rip into Hilary? Anybody else going to poise a primary challenge to Mr.Moneybags Obama?

I agree with you, but it's much worse than that. I's harder and takes longer to write a three-minute skit than a ten-minute one.
I am reminded of a quote by Woodrow Wilson: "If I am to speak ten minutes, I need a week for preparation; if fifteen minutes, three days; if half an hour, two days; if an hour, I am ready now."
(I admit I had to look it up. I could have sworn it was Mark Twain.
Lame bit. It would have been funnier for SNL to do a bit about Urkel and crew fucking up the timelines, narratives, and everything else associated with killing OBL. Oh wait, I'm still laughing about it.

Thats cruel of you Ann. Our resident libtards already confuse Tina Fey with Palin. Now this?
I was the original one who came up with the "dancing in the end zone" and now this obama, excuse me, hussein obama stole my line!
Sadly, this is not far from what really happened. Is happening.
Let's hope no SEALS or their families are exposed, or even worse, hurt because of his hubris.
And it only took him 16 hours to give the green light for it.
I suspect Leon and Hillary threatened to go to the press if he did not.

When you lose SNL....
Fred, I credit Wikileaks for the leak that CIA was looking for AQ couriers in Abbottbad. Allah be praised that UBL's internet bill had not been paid.
SNL on NBC?
Sorry, can't watch.
Rather, won't watch.
The court jester may from time to time poke fun at the king, gently, gently.
But the jester always returns to abject praise, and full time mockery of the king's enemies, for in the end he belongs to the court.
I think it means next to nothing.
I watched a little, but the audience's reaction interested me more.
Did it seem like out-&-out enjoyment?

Now that's funny.
If only Sarah Palin had wandered on to the set.
The comment calling this the worst impression of a president SNL has ever done is beyond hilarious. You can smell the dudgeon from here.
Those who can't write screen plays write TV scripts. Those who can't write TV scripts write for SNL.
Those who can't write screen plays write TV scripts. Those who can't write TV scripts write for SNL.
Then become senators after stealing the vote.
Once upon a time, libruls opposed the worship of idols.

If that is what happened, I just do not believe it was the country they were thinking of.

Probably more truth to it than we want to know.

And that's the "favorable" account.
I thought this was outrageously funny.
I wish they had somehow exaggerated his moat with alligators gag, too.
He's all I killed OBL, but I won't do anything about Arizonans or Texans whose lives are endangered by the broken border.
And anyone who does is a racist monster, he seems to say.
BO has really amazingly paradoxical notions about law.
I am not sure he adds up, but I am happy that he killed bin Laden!
The sketch is disguised as light mockery, but it's just a method for the SNL writers to boast of Obama's "accomplishment."
Our guy killed Osama, and stupid, old monkeyface didn't! Ha ha!
Pure gloating.
AA, your Barack Hussein Obama obsession is duly noted.
Stlaker Shiloh complaining about someone else's "obsession". Priceless.

Agreed, Pogo. And add the Daily Show to that mix. Have not watched it since 2000
