[Y]ou can’t lose a war if you never define it as such. And if you always keep your options open the door will never close behind you. And if everybody else loses, you win, if you define “you” narrowly enough. Finally, if you don’t care about anything it doesn’t matter.
Originally cairns were burial mounds. Bodies were buried under piles of rocks in places where the ground was too hard to dig. When meat went bad, one of my relatives said it smelled cairny. She said it was an old saying.

They defy gravity and appear as if a faint breeze will topple them, and this boggles my mind.
I have been to Lodi California. It is very flat, but very grape laden. Or, at least it was.
I'm curious as to where the name Lodi came from. I suspect it was named for Lodi, Italy--the scene of Napoleon's first major battle.

It was nice of Meade to score me points on Alliums and Prosser support, but that is not why I say those things, to score points with Meade.
If I did, I would have thrown out Schuberti for a triple score on the alliums.
But thanks for the kind thoughts!
