Come on, kids! It's victimology time!

Let's all flop down on the sidewalk and draw each other's dead body outlines.

DSC_0001

No, no, no... we're not drawing blue violins with musical notes drifting up out of them. This isn't about art, it's politics. Not violins. Violence! The government is killing us! Come on, it's great fun! Come roll around on the sidewalk with us. We're the victims!

I thought the blood shadows (chalk lines) were a NYC Chinese street gang.

Drama.

Queens.

(Actually, whoever did the violin did pretty good with sidewalk chalk.)

Heh! Looking closer, I realized that the violin was added to an existing chalk body outline. So maybe somebody was thinking along the same lines as you.

Meanwhile, Democrat WI State Assemblyman, Mark Pocan, posts on his website page a photo of Wisconsin Police in riot gear, standing in a hallway, with this comment underneath:

"Police in riot gear at Capitol, for chickenshit Repubicans to enter building. Unbelievable."

No, Pocan, what's unbelievable is that you even got elected. Let 10 TEA Partiers block your way into the Capitol and you would be crapping your pants and calling for your mommie to bring the police in riot gear.

So while your comrades hang out in Illinois, Walker and the Republicans head fakes you.

Louise Hay would looove this game.

Now that I think about it, she prefers people actually die, but you get the idea.

Peter V. Bella म्हणाले...

The only victims are the taxpayers of Wisconsin who will get stuck with the bill for all this Democratic nonsense.

Victoria, I'm sure I'm late to this, but so glad to see you here! Simon has been back to. It's like old times. Yea!

"Union busting"?

I know that's ironic, but how about reframing the issue as "civil service reform": taking the politics out of government jobs by ending the cycle of forced union dues being funneled from the public treasury to Democrat party coffers.

Considering all the violence - and threats of it - has been directed at the other side, I suppose they'll say the Republicans started it by not giving in.

WV "butgent" (no kidding) Pick one, any one.

Like I said, the leftards have completely lost their collective fucking minds. Is there a town near Madison called retardville? Because like zombies, they are looking for brains.

Hey Alexis!! I'm touched you recall me. Hope you're well!

Victoria!

What do people who take their dogs to a protest, wish to impart about themselves?

Depends on the dog, I think:

1. "I'm normal! I'm normal! See, I have a dog!"

2. "Watch it, because if you say something I don't like, I'll have my dog rip out your throat."

3. "I needed an extra platform to put signs on, and the dog will put up with it sooner than the cat will."

Wince म्हणाले...

Violins meant violence to some.

"Let me play you a tune on my violin."

The machine gun, commonly known as a Tommy Gun... in popular culture has come to be identified with gangland shootings and gunfights as depicted in movies such as The Untouchables, starring Kevin Costner and Sean Connery.

Casias says some hotel managers were even reluctant to rent rooms to “musicians” because it was feared they were actually veiled gangsters hiding the Tommy Gun in a violin case, hence the colloquially popular phrase, “Let me play you a tune on my violin.”
.

vbspurs म्हणाले...

Wow, jaed, I think you nailed the reasons for this particular kind of tagteaming at protests. I think (1) is what they want others to think, (2) what they want others to have in the back of their minds and (3) reality.

And thanks for the welcome back, everyone!!

I'm very grateful to you.

These perpetual members of the self-imposed victim class actually seem to get reaffirmation from events that don't conform to their non-conformity. Chalk outlines of victims of violence should not be used for childish fantasies of self-imposed persecution.

It is indicative of their floundering in the face of reality.

VBSPURS: long time no hear. Nice hearing from you again.

While we have fun laughing at this, I give you this quote from a reporter who spent the night in the capitol: And yet there hasn't been a single episode of serious conflict between protesters or with the police. And there's no sign of any such confrontation to come. How is this possible? It's not an accident, and it's not a miracle. It's the product of a sophisticated, unbreakable culture that has evolved in the hallways of the Occupied Capitol. And that's exactly why Scott Walker is so desperately tightening the screws.

Leland म्हणाले...

Yes, and while idiots draw chalk outlines of themselves, because a lawful legislature passes a law bring state unions in line with federal unions; we really see the comparison of death and related news from WI to Japan.

They lost in election in November. They lost the legislative battle. Now they are going to lose the national news coverage. Time to go back and do the jobs they were hired to do.

Tarzan म्हणाले...

And there's no sign of any such confrontation to come. How is this possible?

Maybe, just maybe, because the protesters and the police are--for all intents and purposes--on the same side?
