I wear clothes from Target, but even I knew that Ivy's outfit was ugly. The Golden Girls wouldn't have worn that outfit b/c it would have made them look old.
Gretchen should have been the one to go, but it was obvious they kept her b/c the show has to have a villain, right?
Terrible look. It's one thing for todays protected adolescents to buy $80 jeans with holes in them to look like street people valiantly surviving; but it is wrong on so many levels to spend big bucks for adults that want to dress up like soviet women from the 1980s. Are they looking for a Commissar to take them in?
Honestly that was one of the best PR episodes eveh! And Tom and Lorenzo's write up/takedown had me crying with laughter. The outfit itself was horrible - I think my mother had that blouse back in the 70s.

Hey! Is that you in the middle of the page there? With the Mood Ring? ;)
There was a time normal women designed women's clothes and the results made women look nice.
All I can say is that there are some very strange women designing clothes these days.
Can you say, "Drop dead ghastly"?

It was fun to see Gretchen destroy her career on national television. She's like an anti-muse who brings out the worst in everyone.
She's the face of her generation!
The word toady was invented for people like Ivy.
Thanks for posting this, Althouse. PR is my only must-see TV.
