The Egyptian scholar, who wrote that the Koran is "a collection of discourses" and that there is no "pure Islam," has died at the age of 66.

Egyptian brain power to the rescue. The Egyptians are one of the people Arabs conquered Under the Sword, but they are still capable of intelligent thought, unlike Arabians.
