Do you have any idea how many common rodents and other innocent lives (some with cute round faces) are ending right now in that small frame of the world?
Happy Birthday America!
I feel sorry for peoples of the world who didn't have my fortunate accident of birth, but I also envy immigrants who have chosen to become Americans. I would be incredibly proud to have chosen to be part of such exceptionalism rather than lucking into it.
bagoh20, I deeply resent that term, "lucking into it." Most of us have been shaped by the generations that built this exceptional country. It isn't luck, it's the hard work of those who came before and who passed their values on to us. Lucky are those immigrants who take the opportunities here without embracing our values.
I agree with you frequently, but your comment here makes mockery, to my mind, of the values that created us.

This is the greatest country in the world.
Too bad the people running it at this moment don't think so.
But they are on the downhill slide. Their time is almost past.
You sure do eat out a lot.
The houses that had Obama signs don't have flags out.
Evidently flags mean take the country back, anyway if it's not the half dozen that politicians always use as backdrops.

Excellent composition and colors.
Of course, twilight lasts for only a brief span; so you have to drink up the moment as soon as possible.
