I would rather see Wicked made as a film. But not screwed up. That play was very clever.

I loved "After Hours". Really great pastiche of New York in the 80's..

"Wicked" the play had a much more satisfying ending than the book, and the consequences of Elphaba's action's (however well meaning) resonated much more truly (as well as neatly tying up most of origins of other OZ characters.

I have read all three of the books and I hate to say it, but it is really becoming a slog.

"Return to OZ" was actually not too bad, but it tried to tie together 2 Baum books that did not mesh all that well.

Agree with Fred and Iron. 'Wicked' has a lot going for it.

This sounds like it's gonna end up like that sequel to GWTW.

"Surrender Dorothy" was the phrase used in a famous graffito. It was painted on a train bridge over the Capital Beltway and was visible as the Oz-like Washington LDS temple appeared over the highway. Ah, Wikipedia provides.

The author of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz wrote a sequel, they should just do a film adaption of that, with all its little eccentricities intact.
