"He preferred, like many another marijuana enthusiast, to take his dope in the form of large handfuls of cookies and brownies."
From the upcoming Christopher Hitchens memoir "Hitch-22." The "he" referred to in the quote is Bill "Didn't Inhale" Clinton. I have no idea if Hitchens is joking or actually has access to info.

Based on stories I've been told by people who worked on his campaigns, he is not kidding. It was an open secret that this was the truth underlying the "didn't inhale" story.
We need a "Bill Clinton is like Jim Ignatowski" tag.
How old do you have to be to call marijuana "dope"?
How dopey do you have to be not to call marijuana "dope?"
In between his bisexual athletic encounters little Hitch raised his head long enough to determine that that out of control cowboy JFK was endangering his Brit twit life.
Does that mean that Hillary is an old hippie as well?
It doesn't sound like Clinton likes to smoke. Take his cigar...
The question now is, does he swallow?
'Namely, Hitchens' explanation of his boarding school sexual encounters with men that continued into his college years at Oxford.'
Funniest C-Span show ever - stay with me now - was when Brian Lamb interviewed a biographer of Winston Churchill. I believe it was Martin Gilbert.
Lamb - "You say in the book that Churchill was accused as a boy of buggery when he was in boarding school. What's buggery?"
Author -"Buggery? What's buggery..oh dear...buggery is.....well.."
Lamb - "You say in the book that Churchill was accused as a boy of buggery when he was in boarding school. What's buggery?"
I bet Brian did his homework before the next interview. Ouch.
I'd bet every cent in my checking account Lamb knew perfectly well what buggery was before he asked the question. It's just the way he conducts interviews. He asks questions. It's unusual since the common practice is now for the interviewer to ask six paragraph questions which require only a yes or no response from the person being interviewed. Lamb's style leads to long answers, instead of long questions.
Is Hitch's accusation really new? I'd swear it was in No One Left To Lie To (though it may have been more subtly asserted, then), a decade ago. Anybody still have a copy of that?
Here's the actual exchange between Lamb and Gilbert. Other than the 'buggery' part, I got it almost all wrong. Still, quite funny.
GILBERT: When Churchill was 20 and a young soldier, he was accused of buggery, and you know that's a terrible accusation. Well, he ended up prime minister for just quite a long time.
LAMB: Why was he accused of buggery, and what it is?
GILBERT: You don't know what buggery is?
LAMB: Define it, please.
GILBERT: Oh, dear. Sorry, I thought the world would —— buggery is what used to be called "an unnatural act of the Oscar Wilde type," is how it was actually phrased in the euphemism of the British paper. You don't know what buggery is? It's a very nasty thing which men can do to each other.
Since Bill Clinton only metaphorically inhaled the marijuana brownies, he wasn't technically lying when he claimed to have not inhaled.
Is Hitch joking?
Lessee, now, what did Willie's brother do for a living?

Any smart 4 year old can do it.

Moderately old, very hippy.
(Yeah, I know, but I couldn't resist)
I concede that a 4 year old can call marijuana dope while at the same time predicting you are 50+
Not that it matters. It just sounds weird to my ears.
Clinton preferred, like many other cigar aficionados, before taking the first draw to dip his cigar into the pussy of the youngest intern close at hand.
I have info on that if you want it, Ann.
Clinton lowered the standards. We don't even really blame him for 9/11 because he was such a hopeless jackass. All of his successes were in being steamrolled by the GOP. He never would have won a two man contest, and I think it's not really clear he was so much better than Obama. If Obama gets steamrolled by the GOP, he'll have some centrist crap to pretend to own, too.
With Clinton, it never mattered how many times terrorists from abroad tried to kill us, but any domestic whackos were brought front and center for massive coverage... much like Obama, whose war on terror is to wind down everything but the easy drone attacks. And that leads to problems, in my opinion.
I don't care that Clinton used drugs. It's pretty obvious that he did when you look at how he talks and how paranoid he always is. I don't care if Obama is a cokehead, either (he doesn't really act like one). I'm probably just too humorless on the drug topic.
I know people think Monica was either about sex or about perjury, but to me, it's about such an extremely powerful man preying on such an unpowerful woman.
Intern, unpaid, being accused of being deranged by a machine of democrats. A teenage kid being screwed by a grandpa. All those lies. All it really means is that Bill Clinton is incredibly selfish and dishonorable. I can't imagine a more unbalanced case of sexual harassment, and it's amazing that feminists didn't see their 'Sista Souljah' moment.
You can see it today, what with slutty girls making videos auditioning for Obama's harem. I know Obama's accused of something like it, but it's very likely that's bullcrap. As little as I agree with Obama, he is, as Mccain said, very much a family man.
Hitchens has made this accusation many times over the years. IF you hadn't heard it back when he first started saying it, it's because the press was helping Clinton out back then. I believe it because I've never found Hitchens to be a liar. I doubt he'd be so insistant on this for so many years if he didn't know it to be true. I recall he also said Clinton was a CIA snitch at Oxord.

Clinton was very fortunate that Bush beat Gore. Had Gore been president on 9/11, the whole thing would've been blamed on Clinton/Gore. It might've destroyed the Democratic Party. That's why I find it funny that Democrats are still bitter about the 2000 election. They don't know how lucky they were. (And spare me the notion that Gore would've foiled 9/11 -- the terrorists were already carrying out the plot before Bush was sworn in, and the problems with the intellegence agencies were there from the Clinton-Gore administration.)
With Clinton, it never mattered how many times terrorists from abroad tried to kill us, but any domestic religious people he disagreed with were laid siege to by the FBI and ATF and then murdered in large groups - their children burnt to a fucking crisp in whatever conflagration could be mustered by military forces used in violation of the US Constitution.
But the pussy was good.
Ah ... the young fat pussy.
Good times. Good times.

The National Enquirer it's reported has the video footage of Barack Obama escorting his whore Vera Baker into a hotel room for a fuck session during the campaign.
They haven't released it yet, of course. But they will.
They're just waiting for enough denials to pile up so that when they release the footage, Obama will be destroyed by his own words.
Florida, I just don't trust the National Enquirer. I know they were mostly right about John Edwards, but they are a political organization aligned with, of course, the Clintons.
They are more than a bit like Andrew Sullivan.
I suspect it won't really matter to most Obama supporters if he did that... in fact, many will see it as further reason to resist the 'racist' conservatives who aren't bringing it up.
But ultimately, I can see it in Bill's eyes that he doesn't love his family. That he enjoys lying to them. I think Obama is a true believer, and deceives to hide it, but he honestly loves his family. I just don't think he's the sort to screw around (and meeting a female in a hotel room could be a million other things, especially for a Chicago type... I don't think it's sex).
I guess I sound like Bush, gazing into souls, but I don't think Obama's a cheater.
Before he is through, you may come to wish he was.
A story about pot brownies in 2010 sounds oddly "quaint" to me, and probably downright "organic" to the farmer's market crowd.
Not only does this explain why Clinton could say that he never inhaled, but also explains his oral fixation.
"I know people think Monica was either about sex or about perjury, but to me, it's about such an extremely powerful man preying on such an unpowerful woman."
That always really bothered me, too. If, at a private company, the CEO started fooling around with a college intern copy girl, feminists would be outraged.
I don't know Ms. Lewinski's take on the whole thing (maybe she still looks back on it and smiles), but it always seemed to me that she was being used pretty hard then.
but it always seemed to me that she was being used pretty hard then
She didn't have to snap her thong at him. And she did get two paid govt. jobs out of it, and nearly a private sector one.
