Regarding the beauty of this scene; there are no visible neighbors, but there are nearby hills and far away snow capped mountains (not to mention the setting sun) across the bay. There are no words that capture what I've witness. [Video can't capture it either.]

Word (gossip) is that miss Hunter had some "work" done for the shoot and the interview.
"The instructor would hold up a picture or postcard for 20 seconds or so. Then the class would write a short story about what they saw — in five minutes."
Quick now! Time yourself! 5 minutes!
I think Trooper and I did very well on that test..
She Talks In Stereo - not for nothing but when you look at Elisabeth and you look at Ms Hunter.. you.. I think I "empathise" with that slimeball Edwards..
I got the feeling, from the interview, that Ms Hunter and that slimeball Edwards have reunited.
When I was a boy in Florida and interested in acquiring a snake as a pet, we went to the local pet store and was shown three snakes: an Indigo Snake, which was large and rather passive (these are on the Endangered Species list now and can't be caught or sold); an Eastern King Snake, which I ended up buying; and a Southern Hognosed Snake, which I rejected because the pet shop clerk said I'd need to catch toads for it regularly to eat. I couldn't guarantee a supply of toads, so I bought the King Snake, which ate mice, available at the pet shop.
The Toadsters were moved back to #5 after a team they beat last year beat a weakened USC. Merely remaining undefeated yourself is not enough to please some "experts". Just ask Sara Palin.

Apparently that toad knows what Oprah looks like..
Meade! Don't go into the woods Meade! Unless Wisconsin Vampires are repelled by Marbury v. Madison, Ann can't help you!

Later....they found Meade...and he was ready to run for Congress!!!!
Bevor dada war,

You kissed a toad and it turned into Meade?
There's a joke in there, but I'm not going to touch it.
Walking in the forest is fun. I did that today.

Be sure to check for ticks when you get home.

The answer is morel mushrooms, of course. We ate a batch here yesterday.
Look around the elm trees, stumps, and sprouts, little bro.
Don't we live in a beautiful place?
Toad Camo: effective for the long shot.
Any snake encounters yet?
WV sheekiyii
Meadehouse. You scared the beejeezies out of that poor thing.
Stomp stomp stomp. Crunch. Crackle. Snap.
Yowee!! The giants are coming!!
I'm always on the lookout for a good movie.
I want to play a soundtrack of a movie I mentioned recently.
A Million Miles Away - The Plimsouls
Johnny Are You Queer - Josie Cotton
I believe Ms Hunter had no problems in that department ;)
Eyes Of A Stranger - The Payolas
"Now, what we’re doing, I want to be clear, we’re not trying to push financial reform because we begrudge success that's fairly earned."
"I mean, I do think at a certain point you've made enough money."
Rush mentioned an article (a post) that resembles more "The eyes of a stranger"
A Stranger in Our Midst
Angst In My Pants - Sparks
"He defies the laws of physics as his daily exercise, but without him the universe just wouldn't be as friendly to humans."
Bono effuses inanely over Bill Clinton.
No need to look in the woods or seas for strange and unusual creatures. Not when they land right on the doorstep to expose their misshapen character.
Lem...you were the man with the links today. Thank you. The 3 minute Descartes was a find and a lead to a set I didn't know existed.
Who can it be now - Men at work
Lem...you were the man with the links today. Thank you. The 3 minute Descartes was a find and a lead to a set I didn't know existed.
Did you get that?
Thanks..
Everywhere At Once - The Plimsouls
"We need cameras in the courtroom, because of the "long, slow decline of the newspaper industry" and the rise of "pseudo-journalist."
Says Judge Kozinski.
The more cameras the less we will rely on our ability to think and to judge.
I La La La Love You* - Pat Travers
(*watch the volume)
"Isn't Apple about love? Where's the love Apple?"
BTW - maybe I should mention this is the soundtrack to Valley Girl (1983)
Love my Way - The Psychedelic Furs
Come on, guys! Take the nasal spray that will help you care about other people — like women do!
Some scientists "found that inhaling the 'cuddle hormone' oxytocin made men just as empathetic as women."
Jukebox (Don't Put Another Dime) - The Flirts
It only hurts when I'm wet.
lol
The Fanatic - Felony
"Why do I want more haters? If someone had told me when I signed up I'd get half a million haters... It's all about the approval."
When do celebrities quit Twitting? When they don't get the love they sought. Aw. Poor celebrities!
Twitters aren't necessarily fans.. the humanity..
She Talks In Stereo - Gary Myrick And The Figures
"I followed my heart, and I believe it was the right thing to do, which is weird — I get how weird that is..."
"... because I didn’t make a commitment to Elizabeth. I wasn’t the one lying, like, to her, and I was supporting him in his process, and his intentions never wavered. I knew that he wanted — he just had a really unique way of getting there — to live a life of truth."

I say good for her!?
Oldest Story in the World - The Plimsouls
$8,875,000 for "an ocean-view villa... with a swimming pool, spa and fountains... 6 fireplaces, 5 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms."
Another place for Al Gore and his lovely wife "Tipper" to snuggle up and keep warm.
The con.. the oldest story in the world.
School Is In - Josie Cotton
"I took a weekend class at NYU on speed fiction."
"The instructor would hold up a picture or postcard for 20 seconds or so. Then the class would write a short story about what they saw — in five minutes."
Quick now! Time yourself! 5 minutes!
I think Trooper and I did very well on that test..
I Melt with You - Modern English
"Meetings between great men don't always result in elevated colloquies; sometimes they tend towards the crudely basic."
Men in this case (as my sunday school teacher would say) means both men and women ;)
not that two men could not also.. whatever.
In the song "Who can it be now"..
I have great empathy for people
who just want to be left alone..
I myself cant see how I would live w/o people around but something in me wishes that I didn't need to be around people all the time.
Personal interaction with people inevitably becomes a pain in the ass.
"Everywhere At Once" - Cameras imply an omnipresence of sorts that its impossible to produce.. Cameras imply infallibility.
I'm not a big fan of cameras.
I hear birds chirping and its not even 5:00 am
"Love my Way" - Citizen Kane
Love on your own terms.. those are the only terms anybody ever knows.. his own
Jukebox (Don't Put Another Dime)
The bar I frequent has a jukebox and it only takes bills.
Fanatic - I think I'm a tea party fanatic these days.
nttiawwt as Trooper would say.
She Talks In Stereo - not for nothing but when you look at Elisabeth and you look at Ms Hunter.. you.. I think I "empathise" with that slimeball Edwards..
I got the feeling, from the interview, that Ms Hunter and that slimeball Edwards have reunited.
BTW - It was the Hunter post that inspired tonight's Valley Girl soundtrack.
Oldest Story In The World -
Anybody older that 12 who doesnt know about Al Gores con job is probably brain washed and is in need of serious help.
School Is In -
We are lucky to have Althouse.. and not that guy in Pennsylvania Ave ;)
although my impression is that Obama taught for about two minutes.. nobody really knows anything about our president..
its a shame really.
I Melt with You -
Melting presupposes a high temperature conversion..
Melting pot.. California wants to make it legal..
Keep asking questions.

If you can get just a little bit away from man, most places are, but, yes, it's very nice up there.
I thought the answer might be bamboo grass.
A toad is better, though.

AND: Before there was Althouse + Meade, there was Meade + toad.
That's kind of mean. There's no reason to diss the first Mrs. Meade that way. Not cool.
