If you look at the picture with slightly fuzzy eyes, the split morels look like something you would rather not pick up were you to find it in the woods.
I'm single tonight, so I think a small portion are going the olive oil and garlic route to go with a special burger recipe on the grill. Not sure what will be done with the bulk of the stash. Eggs sound good.

I just had a friend give me about that many morels out of a buch he found. Would love to hear what you're planning to do with yours.
Fry in butter and garlic.
Dead elms. That is all. And use a mesh bag so the spores can fall back to earth.
mmmmm, loofahs.
I have heard the morels singing, each to each.
I do not think that they will sing to me.
Seems like 20 of them things, morel or lessel.
The morel of the story...

Well, don't do anything immorel.
Everything at MeadeHouse looks so:
1. Delicious?
2. Orderly?
3. Anal?
4. Otherworldly clean?
5. Nicely photographed?
6. Life threatening if eaten?
Morel recipe:
(1) Place the flour on a dish and roll the morel pieces in it until they are completely coated.
(2) ’Twas brillig, and the slithy morel
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe.
(3) Set the corner or end post first. Then stretch a line from each corner or end post to align all the posts in between.
(4) Duck and cover. Feeds two.
Well, something like that. I had the pages a little mixed up, I think.
Meadhouse taunts us a second time.

I would assume the brownish color was do to dirt getting in... but maybe not.
never mind.
Scramble them with eggs, or make an omelet.
Since I saw a picture of french fries used to spell out "Happy Meal," I want to see the morels spell something.
The 1 that we found on our second trip to the same location ended up in eggs.
The group pictured here got fried in butter (some of them had flour on them too) and eaten with steak.

fls...if you know how to read sign language, I think they already did.

Althouse, did you like the floured or the non-floured ones better?

...and the morels that they worship will be gone.
