Would that enthuse you? If so, you're a nitwit — a twitwit. "Karl Rove is following 96071 people." 116120 people are following him. Be impressed if you're one of the elite 20049 who follow him without being followed. If you want to be impressed with yourself. It's not recommended. Not in the twitterverse anyway.

This is spring. People should play golf and not twitter if they want birdies in their life. I'd play golf with Rove, but he would have to leave his digital device in the car.

The real question is: is this the twitter version of echelon?

Karl Rove is following fewer people than follow him, but surely there are more than 20,049 who follow without being followed: There must be some people Mr. Rove follows, who do not follow him. These are the impressive ones.
They know who they are.
