It just occured to me, via the tags on this post, that SOTU is awfully close to STFU. Only two more Obama STFU addresses to go.
Soon, if not already, some Internet or texting abbreviation is going to overwhelm some long-established shorthand. You won't be able to use NASA or SCOTUS in polite company (SCOTUS already sounds biological).

Ironic smiles and hoots of approval are a useless quack device which cannot perform any other function than separating naive persons from their money. It’s a fake, a scam, a swindle, and a blatant fraud. Prove me wrong and take the million dollars.

Obama's habit of asking mocking rhetorical questions like, why would I want to run GM? or why wouldn't I cut spending? is not irony, it's lying.
And the sheeple who voted for him and get all their news from Entertainment Tonight are blissfully unaware.
