Granted, I often get too serious for the nightclub crowds in my life. You may call me Ernestine, if you like.
But seriously! What the heck was up with that diavlog? I wasn't around to comment that night, but I did view what you put up there, and read here enough to know that you had spent some money and time on the book in order to be "effective" for this Blogginghead episode. "Effective" in quotes, cause you only skimmed the book. ;) I laughed hard at that, but what the heck, it was THICK!
Here's my concern with this, and it's twofold. First, Bloggingheads is a great idea, and I have yet to see one, prior to this, that was not worth my time to watch...once I finally decided to watch the first time, and past two minutes. Watching is a TOUGH sell, so there will be little sympathy for poor performance. Bob Wright must have been even angrier than you were, and I HOPE he will have his own Blogginghead "frame of involvement" issues ironed out as you steam press your own.
That brings me to my second point. But hey...I'm starting to relax now. And this internet stuff...It's nothing, if not about having "fun".

Very punny.
And here I thought you meant this kind of Red Stripe nightclub
where you can enjoy effervescent conversation.
(Oops)
"Sounds like the dog ate her homework."
Ha ha!
I had a dream – no, a nightmare – last night where I went to Arizona and there I met the guy who blogs as The Crack Emcee.
In my dream, Crack was white, overweight, and had greasy hair.
Too much Althouse is not good for you.
That's not fair Julius. The Crack Emcee has posted his photo before!
If you want proof that the partiers are the dumbest group in the U.S. - just mind-sappingly dumb suckers - look no further than this.
Compare that to my discussion of the Contract "from" "America".

Right, Wright?
I think we are being asked to pull a finger. Do they serve Red Stripe (shitty Jamacian Beer) at the Red Stripe nightclub?
