Fat or wrinkly...

You choose.

Fat is warmer and has a better sense of humor.

There's an old saying: after fifty, it's your figure or your face.

This is absolutely, completely, positively true. Ask anyone who's lost significant weight after age 25 or so.

I dropped a third of my body weight at age 34 and was ... surprised ... to say the least. I didn't mind it too much, because I recognized that I was finally going to start looking my real age. Less child-ish, I guess.

I choose wrinkly, by the way. Wrinkly lives longer.

Wrinkly in men is often interchangeable with 'craggy', in a good way.

In all fairness, when I weighed 20 pounds more, I really could laugh at Winter's cold.

Based on the size of my ass, apparently I'm choosing to be youthful and fat.

Closing in on 40 and being in the worst physical shape of my life (no wind, a bit overweight) I gotta go with wrinkles. Married with 4 kids so I care less and less about my sexual appeal outside my wife's attention.

The biggest problem I experience now that the ol' metabolism has gone south on me is the level of energy a heavier, low met body has. It's crushing, sometimes, compared to the relative vigor I enjoyed even into my mid 30's.

Healthy, whether fat or wrinkly.
