[W]e are up against one of the top three and best recognized sites. It is, therefore, the ultimate Dave and Goliath moment. The Cinderella Man moment. The Crossing of the Delaware moment. The Hail Mary moment. Yes, it is your moment. Think of the children, the unborn, the undead. Think your pets, your country. Think of me for God’s sake.

"The ABA editors, however, have put us up against one of the oldest and most popular legal sites, Althouse."
Wow. Professor Turley is really trying to kick my ass.

Don't worry Ann. I've got your back. Your lovely, blond back.
Be gentle with him, Ann.
Oh hell. I've never liked the little turd. Give no quarter.
So far, Turley has twice the votes you have. ABA Journal makes it difficult to vote, however, which may limit the count for blogs that attract a primarily non-law/lawyer audience.
But there is so little law actually discussed here, does it really constitute a "law blog" just because Ann is a professor of law?
It's much more fun to think of this as an illegal site.
Kick his scrawny little ass, Ann. Then send in Titus to finish him off, with cutting remarks about the inadequacy of his "hog".
Turley, you know NOT what you have taken on.
See you in HELL!
I'm taking a vow of cruel neutrality on this one.
Perhaps someone with the confidence and self-awareness to refer to himself as the Cinderella Man deserves my vote.
Right.
On merit, you would kick his tail, but Turley might edge you out on soft, feminine wiles.
For example, I bet he already owns at least three more of the lingerie outfits from the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show than you do. Probably gets waxed more often, too.
Turley was a stooge deployed by the Clinton WH to deal with a semen stain blue dress.
You should have no problem profe.
I'm with Skyler. You are a law professor and some law gets discussed here, but I don't see how your site could reasonably be called a law blog.
It's more like a grab bag of interesting stuff gussied up by unusually intelligent commenters (not always and not everyone, but really, the gang here is two cuts above).

Who the heck belongs to the ABA in any case? I think that my firm would pay for the dues, but I prefer to spend the money on more useful and less ideological memberships.
Considering the photo he uses, I think his motto, "the thing itself speaks", is apt.
You've got my vote, Ann. (#29)
