Ray Davies is still going strong and singing. A couple of years ago he got shot in New Orleans attempting to foil the snatching of his girlfriend's purse.
Face to Face is one of the best pop/rock albums ever. It's one of the few vinyl records that stays next to the hi-fi. The cd is good too, but make sure to get the reissue. For further listening, check out Village Green, Arthur and Something Else.
