Improvising with the bear.

TJ Miller really wanted the part of Ranger Smith in the Yogi Bear movie. After 2 failed auditions, desperate, he made this video:

He got the part. Actually, I'm a little suspicious. Maybe first he got the part and then this clip was made. A smarter-than-the-average studio effort at viral video... and I'm the carrier.

TJ and the Bear?

Is it okay to feed bears marshmallows and movie scripts? Wouldn't actors be more nourishing?

Not sure I believe the official story behind this video, but I like this TJ Miller guy. He was the best part of ABC's "Carpoolers" a couple of years ago, a failed sitcom that deserved to do a lot better.

It is inadvisable to let a bear with foaming jowls near your crotch area. If worse comes to worse, he could make a full frontal appearance on Oprah to plug the movie. Relax, prudes. There would be nothing to see.

Looks like it would make an awful movie, but a wonderful play.

Smarter-than-the-average, huh?

I'm T.J. Miller. I wasn't desperate, I've done 6 movies since Cloverfield, they're just not out yet. I had already auditioned twice, and they both went well, I was told I had the part before I made this video as a joke, and sent it to Warner Bros. pretending it was a real audition and vital additional materials. I think it sealed the deal, but the whole thing is pretty ridiculous. I mean, a talking bear movie is not something i would chase harcore....

The bear deserves a much better script.
