... I'm there, sunning on the gravel "beach"...
... under the blue sky ...
... by the deactivated fountain....
... snapping my pictures of you, which I can't display here, so I'll just show what the garden looked like, still pretty, a little bare — except for the kale — on the first day of November.

When did you go Goth, Ann?
I so want one of those skirts. You said once you had several... no one needs several. All I need is one!
From those according to their ability to those according to their need!
I hate to admit I have 5!
This blog post is a love poem for Meade!
How very nice.
And I figured that out all by my itty, bitty, little old self.
(Now if only I can figure out whether Stewie is intelligible to the grown-ups on “Family Guy.”)
Purple gloved dominatrix sitting in the sun,
Soon night will fall with whips and fun.
Oh!
My goodness!
Come to think of it, the World Series is pretty much done.
(Sorry, A.J.)
Nice garden, but where do you grow the kudzu?
Black soaks up a lot of healthy vitamin D.
Good Lord, woman, how much of Wisconsin do you own?

I assume Meade's writing the commentary -

OK, Althouse, what kind of pictures are we not seeing? ;D
A House Sparrow takes wing without health insurance.
Meade cut the top of Ann's head off in that third picture. Hm?
Born and raised in Western Pennsylvania, I must say that the photo of Ann in the sun perfectly captures my favorite feeling: The sun warming your body through the fabric of cold weather clothing as winter approaches or or summer fades.
You are my fashion inspiration.
Really nice set of photos. Thanks for sharing.
You wear warm gloves, yet thin socks. Therefore, you are weird.
Is this a cafe?
Well, it's a full moon in Taurus.

Poochy pockets! Poochy pockets!!
"You wear warm gloves, yet thin socks. Therefore, you are weird."
The gloves aren't that warm. I like silk-lined leather gloves.
So pret-tee!
We don't get to experience late fall/winter gardens like that here, more's the pity.
But then, I wouldn't look quite so fetching either.
Wait wait. I thought we were going to get the inside track on where to find skirts like that.
