At the Drained Lily Pond Tavern...
... it doesn't matter if we see that your beautiful ideas were always potted and propped up on cinderblocks. It's beautiful that way too.

Sometimes it's good to see the gears.
Er.
The Eloi couldn't exist without the Morlock.
The back 40 at Althouse Acres?
In addition to the charming lady of the house, Meade obviously moved north for a professional challenge :)
Why is it always a cafe or a tavern? We'd like a meal, a really good meal, sometimes, not just bar food or cafe cupcakes.
Next time, leave us at a steakhouse, or even an authentic diner, the old kind that looks like a stainless steel railroad car.
I suppose if you-know-who is tagging along you could leave us at a curry house. It's your call.

Meade might enjoy a trip to Boerner Botanical Gardens, located in Whitnall Park, in southwestern Milwaukee County. You would too, of course.
It looks like a lawsuit waitng to happen.
The open pond, I mean, not Meade.
Whew.
Why is it always a cafe or a tavern?
At the Drained Lily Pond Brothel, all you 40-year-old virgins can finally get laid.
Very stylish jeans.
Kind of symbolic for how some independent type Obama voters feel now that he has been president for 10 months.
You can tell that pond isn't in New Jersey because there isn't a bloated corpse wired to one of those cinderblocks.
Do they drain them to prevent freezing cracking the concrete? In our are the cold usually stops going down at 15f, and goes back to 35f in a few days at most. So many people put salt into their pools/ponds and keep them filled thru the winter.
