Logitech knows who you are. You have a half-dozen remotes on the coffee table. And you're the only one in the family who knows how to use them. Logitech can help with the Harmony One Advanced Universal Remote. Enjoy a full-color touch screen. Intuitive button layout. And an ergonomic design. So easy to use, the whole family will love it.

You are fortunate to live on the sunny side of the street.
There's a dark and a troubled side of life There's a bright and a sunny side too Though we meet with the darkest of strife The sunny side we also may view
Keep on the sunny side Always on the sunny side Keep on the sunny side of life It will help us every day It will brighten up our way If we keep on the sunny side of life
Though the storm and it's fury breaks today Crushing hopes that we cherish so dear The clouds and storm will in time pass away And the sun again will shine bright and clear
Let us treat with a song of hope each day Though the moment be cloudy or clear Let us trust in our Saviour old ways He will keep everyone in His care
Keep on the sunny side Always on the sunny side Keep on the sunny side of life It will help us every day It will brighten up our way If we keep on the sunny side of life

Nice. I love a room with lots of windows and hardly any window coverings. Sometimes that's hard to do in an urban area without feeling like a fish in a fishbowl. The foliage is a good screening.
On second review I suddenly notice the subtle message (intended?) I see a stairway of remotes leading to the exercise ball and weights and finally "the light".
We must progress from our technoligically-facilitated torpor upward to greater fitness and health till we reach the brightness of a new day!
That was it, wasn't it?

It's all about the windows, isn't it?
Good God, woman, how many remotes do you need?
Otherwise, very lovely. We'll have to savor the sunlit Saturdays. Everything points to a long, cold winter - in more ways than one.
I hope Meade doesn't wreck his back with those weights.
It has to be interpreted under glass.
With connection to the feminine operation.
There's a nice quoted Mallarme piece on p251 of the link above, a few pages ahead.
"Everything points to a long, cold winter..."
It snowed here this morning.
The orb in the corner intrigues me.
You've quoted "Sleeper" in the past.
I live on the West Side. Please try to keep it down, eh?

"The orb in the corner intrigues me."
There's something called "stir the pot" that Meade keeps trying to teach me. It's not easy!

Slow, steady, wins race, etc.
And we have a beautiful blue sky right now. Give that man a hug and return to Stirring the Pot.

Shhhh ... Ann and Meade call that "the sex ball."
That must be where Cheney went when they said he was in a remote location.
Meade says: "Darling, you seem a little remote today."
Time to invest in a universal remote?
I take it you hire a house cleaner?
If not, I'm impressed.
I love it, it's beautiful.

This morning I was sitting on my porch in my shorts reading a book, happy I could finally sit outside comfortably.

Just a suggestion...

I've got us down to one remote. Just took routing everything through a computer. :P

Let the sunshine in.
At first I thought the exercise ball was a sculpture.
Stir the pot works great. Although apparently just thinking about doing it does not have the same effect as doing it.
Well, that's fine, Tri-Man, but I prefer my ab workouts WITH news.
Ab news, that is.
@XWl
I bought a couple Harmony 890s on Amazon for a little more than half the MSRP price.
A TiVo and Harmony remote are two pieces of AV equipment I really couldn't imagine doing without any more.
[I am not affiliated with Althouse, Amazon, Logitech or TiVo and paid for all recommended equipment. So there, Phfffttt!!!]
Very attractive room

"The view from my sofa."
I'm glad that an authority no less than Professor Althouse, herself, says "sofa" instead of "couch."
This means I was right to rebel so many years ago.
And, that stuff that comes out of the faucet? I forced myself to stop calling it "wooder" somewhere around 1981.
That was a struggle, too.
That is very beautiful, I am jealous.
