After Ruth Bader Ginsberg's slip up last week in which she revealed the tacit agenda behind the SCOTUS decision to legalize abortions on demand, the demonstrator, Roe herself, was focusing efforts on the best forum in which to protest that decision using her case. Truth is again more amazing than fiction.
This is verging on the type of stupidity that Althouse's buddy Instapundit promotes. Just recently he promoted someone who held up "bunny ears" behind a politician's back, and I don't know whether shouting at a meeting is a step up or a step down from that.
In either case, the intelligent thing for Jane Roe or her colleagues to have done would have been to try to engage SS in an impromptu debate at one of her many public appearances. Instead of ranting, raving, screaming, or waving loopy signs, they could have tried to make her look bad by showing that what she supports is wrong, by discussing conflicts in what she's said, and so on. Video of that would have been effective on Youtube; as it is, something like this make AlFranken look good by comparison.
And, if anyone wants to block SS in a smart and effective way, see my plan. Sadly, you won't find others promoting actual action plans or even promoting effective plans. Instead, they just want to jump up and down like paper tiger clowns.
Kylos: na hui. I'm doing something now, I did something with the previous comment, and I've been doing something for over six years. For just one of the many examples of me doing something, see this. Now, compare that - or the thousands of other entries or the many, many things I've done - to the collected works of Kylos, available from its profile page. Once again: na hui.
And yet you carp on and on about how instapundit and althouse and the republicans, etc, etc, never take your great advice.
Look, I haven't spent the past year or more on althouse whining about how no one uses my great ideas, so my lack of blogged ideas is rather beside the point.

It was Norma McCorvey!
The woman famous for the abortion she never had.

Life is weird.
If you have a life . . . .

Oh, give it up, LoneWacko. If your plans are so great, why don't you implement them yourself? Do something. But quit bellyaching about everyone else.

Norma McCorvey, one of the lefts most perfect tools and a woman who suffers from buyers remorse.
It is sad to see how fat people become when they get old.
In 1995, she was baptized and has been an anti-abortion activist ever since.
Something in the water.
Classy.

Seriously, I don't remember Code Pink demonstrators disrupting congressional hearings being removed so abruptly.
"Seriously, I don't remember Code Pink demonstrators disrupting congressional hearings being removed so abruptly."
The more ironic your disruption, the more abrupt your removal.
God bless her!
This is would probably make a great ending to a movie...about something.
What, not Code Pink? There are other old women demanding attention out there?
