A drive in southern Ohio.

Liked the low throaty rumble of the engine! Neat!

But, stay more centered in your lane, a little shaky there at times!

Still, nice looking countryside!

Ohio is so middle America I absolutely ador it.

I want to hug it, and give it a big kiss.

If you really want to experience cover bridges go to Vermont darling.

BTW Frank Rich and Maureen Dowd want an investigation on torture. They have spoken and an investigation will take place. The directive has been passed.

You wingnuts can have Pelosi's pussy. We get Cheney's hog. Fair?

Have a super weekend.

thank you.

Seems like more than 40 mph to me. (?)

You might need a lawyer some day.

Reminiscent of Bridges of Madison County...

Thanks, Ann. That was wonderful. We went on a drive through the covered bridges in Indiana a few years ago. Amish country. The backroads of America are amazing.

What a beautiful world to live, love and laugh your way through. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks! I love back roads, they provide the best driving (and motorcycle riding) pleasure.

Also enjoyed the Fellini-esque symbolism of the car going into the covered bridge.

Or maybe sometimes a bridge is just a bridge.

Ahhh the joys of Round Bottom Road and the Nature Center......

(1) “It's funny how the colours of the real world only seem really real when you viddy them on a screen.” -- Alex from “A Clockwork Orange" (1971)

(2) So where were all the deer? Visiting the city? Is there some kind of habitat exchange program going on?

(3) The title "Wait Until The Sun Shines Through" made me think instantly of this famous breakthrough sequence. It's got a completely different vibe going, though. Maybe cars breaking through to daylight is its own genre.

(4) I dislike reading the word "genre" and I dislike saying it out loud even more.

(5) I hope I used it incorrectly. Please forget I used it at all.

(6) Thank you.

(7) And I almost forgot . . . GOOD MORNING.

@srfwotb, I’m not sure what you mean by “edit function” but you can link to your YouTube clip and start it at 0 minute and 22 seconds, as follows: {a href=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_bXG1KBHqj0#t=0m22s}LINK TITLE{/a}.

Just replace the “{“ and “}” with “<” and “>”.

LINK TITLE.

Southern Ohio Brag

Coming up next- a wild motorcycle ride through the twisting country roads.

Well, they sure don't make roads like that in Minnesota.

Driving along twisty, narrow roads with tree limbs arching across from either side -- one of the simple pleasures I had to give up when I moved to Minnesota from Pennsylvania. We had them in the good parts of New Jersey, too.

Driving through Western Wisconsin Friday, I encountered this roadside attraction.
