ADDED: As a few of you have seen, there's a groundhog. You may remember that a few days ago, there were 2 coyotes in the yard here (in Ohio) and they were gnawing on a groundhog. Yesterday, I saw a few groundhogs in the yard and running into that spooky old garage. Today, we were walking down in the meadow at dusk, and, just after Holly (the dog) chased after a deer, we saw a coyote in the tall grass. It was keeping an eye on us. Were there pups somewhere? Were there coyotes all over the place in that grass? We made our way back to the house. Would a beast suddenly lunge at our backs? No, we're here. Unscathed.

Ohio gives great sunset and sunrise lighting pics, owing to the visible sun reaching pretty near the horizon and lots of grass to catch the light.

On closer inspection, groundhog.

It has about the right shape, but the tail doesn't look right, maybe we are seeing it edge-on.
I see a path that disappears short of its destination, yet the destination is in sight...
Perhaps encouraging the traveler to finish the trip without guidance?
Or does it show that all works of man are doomed to be overgrown?

Ann, you guys need to be careful with the coyotes because they will ambush your dog with the dog knowing it. If you are in an area with known coyotes you need to at least carry a BB or pellet gun with you to scare them off.

inconsequential I could buy, but accidental? Is that what you tell your students when the opening paragraph of an essay or thesis mirrors one that you received from another student a semester before, or one for sale on term papers.com? Or do thoroughly examine the paper in question, and talk to the student? My guess is your approach is closer to the latter!

The thing to be wary about with coyotes is their tendency to leave their dynamite, giant springs and rocket skates lying around.
