There is less chance of being run over by a bus online, of contracting a serious communicable disease (computer viruses don't count), getting sunburned, falling off places or objects (other than your chair)...
What boring topics in the Law School. No wonder you have to provide food as a bribe to get people there!
Is the food paid for out of the general fund? I don't want some poor potato farmer outside Wausau paying taxes so the elite in Madison can nosh on Cantaloupe from CostCo.
I don't think living on a line can be that dangerous. Supposedly Osama bin Laden has been living on the border between Afghanistan and Pakistan for years. He must be very skinny.
Everything in life is "dangerous" when it interferes with the other good things you do until you live out of balance. That's why we need friends and church/social groups to keep track of us. We also see what un-balance does to others, and learn from their mistakes. Exercise is very good, but can easily get out of balance as seen at a Gymn.

Alas, too late to help Althouse.
It's from the Children's Justice Project, so JAC best be careful of the dangers of the Meadehouse!
It plays on two tendencies

Usually if you can avoid wearing a too-short skirt, the dangers of living online are minimized.
Also, don't put your fingers in the sockets, don't sleep in the subway, and don't stand in the pouring rain.
That oughta cover it.
Joan,
From previous Tom's toys thread. Photoshop for you, crusader figurine Jeanneified.

I think the most important question is, do they put the free food out before or after the PBS program?

One thing I miss about law school was the endless free noon hour food*, whether plastic box lunch, burritos, curry with paratha, or just Costco pizza.
The food costs came out of the clubs' budgets, so hopefully from students' tuition and not the rapeseed farmers.
*There Ain't No Such Thing As A Free Lunch
Hey what's a rapeseed farmer?
Hey what's a rapeseed farmer?
People who reduced the toxicity of rapeseed gave it a new name:

The danger...yeah, you might end up married or something, LOL!
Are you the teacher or a student for this seminar?
The Althouse is the internet equivalent of a CIA safe house for free thinkers, that is open to the public. Please note Journolisters.
