"I'm a man without conviction."

Sang Boy George in "Karma Chameleon." As Sonicfrog notes, Boy George is not a man without conviction anymore.

He also sang about coming carnelian -- Red, Gold, and Green! -- for which he'd better see a doctor!

Haha. As if to answer my challenge to find a more repugnant and loathsome faggot than Andrew Sullivan, Althouse delivers. Boy George makes Sullivan seem saintly (and quite handsome in comparison). Boy George looks like a botched attempt by a junior high home economics class to make a bust of Tammy Faye out of over-risen bread dough.

But isn't that...Sullivan?

Big day for celebrity kidnapping convictions!

As if holding us all as captive audiences weren't crime enough....

A new reality TV series is spawned. Boy George and OJ share a cell in the big house.

It'll make millions.

Have some pity for the poor prison officials in inmate classification. Every prison system has male units, female units, and designated units for gay inmates who would otherwise be assaulted by cellmates. But where to put Boy George?

And now I have to ask:

Just what will George Michael do to top Boy George?

sonicfrog বলেছেন...

Would it help or hurt, if he finds himself in a bad spot in the pokey, to break out in song and start singing "Do you really want to hurt me?".

Here is a case where the term "poster boy" would not be inappropriate.

Sonicfrog: I suspect that depend on which meaning of 'top' you have in mind...

1. To achieve a higher level of distinction

2. To indulge in active gay sex

3. To kill

If Boy George and George Michael were in the same cell it would be a race for the bottom.

And not the bottom bunk either.

My mom and dad really liked that song and used to turn it up when it came on the radio. I liked Church of the Poison Mind myself. What is that song about, anyway? Is there even one song from the 1980s with unambiguous song lyrics? I mean besides Lionel Ritchie.

sonicfrog: How about 'Alt-ered'?

Ann Althouse বলেছেন...

It was established long ago that the term is: Annalanche.

Most unabiguous song of August 20, 1979

And here's a great pop song of 1980 but if you want unambiguous, hoo boy this one is so not unambiguous on so many levels of so many departments in so many ways I don't even know where to begin.

Meade.

Don't EVER trick us to open a horrible Lionel Ritchie song like that ever, DO YOU HEAR ME!!!!
