Good for them, but I'll have to pass on buying their stuff from the YouTube channel. Why would I want two copies?
Good idea.
MM they are only posting partial clips not the whole movie. So if you like a part of Life of Brian or Search for the Holy Grail, you might want to just buy the entire movie. I will.
"Life of Brian" is in many ways their best movie. Best structure and rhythm. Not as many stretches of severe bladder control danger, though. "Blessed are the cheese makers" is pretty classic, of course.

I like the humongous bird statue in what appears to be Cleese's backyard.
And now for something completely different...artists who seem to be figuring out the internet.

Bloody 'ell, Wha' 'appened?!
They're all wrinkled!
They've all gone fat!
Standing pat
What once gaily twinkled.

Are they going to put their work up on both YouTubes?
In my never ending pursuit of perfection:
Bloody 'ell, Wha' 'appened?!
Sated, comfy sat
What once twinkled
They're all wrinkled,
They've all gone fat.
@dust bunny, I think you misinterpret madisonman's post, I think he's trying to say he already owns all of the movies.
Correct, good sir knight!
I hear there is an opening at the ministry of Silly Walks. Let's wait to see what the transition team will do.
Although Bill Ricardson has been mentioned. Of course he will do more of a silly waddle.
I bet they'll find an increase in sales of their movies and TV show box sets.
Like MM, we already have all of the movies, except for "Life of Brian." I bought my husband the entire MPFC series last year for Christmas.
IMO, the YouTube snippets are for inserted links for jokes and making opinion points, not necessarily to 'just watch for fun.' Tho, YMMV.
Technically, they're my son's DVDs (well, he doesn't have TMOL -- a little too much IMO for a near-teen, though I'm sure son would disagree)

Absolutely bloody brilliant. I should have expected no less. Same idea that the Dead came up with regarding fan taping.
Brilliant.

Well, how do you know she's a witch.
She looks like one.
Althouse was talking about Prince's You Tube reaction the other day: Compare and contrast.
For something completely different, here's an example of Youtube promoting something that serves Google's corporate interests.
