The latest film Batman is even Republican: Tough on crime, big on personal charity and not so much on big government. He's Dirty Harry or Paul Kersey. No respect for international borders. (Heh.) Big into military spending and willing to spy on the entire city to get the bad guy.
Besides, Gotham's underworld is obviously hooked up with Democrats. Hell, you think the Chicago setting was just a coincidence?
