A buddy brought a $1K Sony HD camcorder and a Flip video cam. He carries his Flip every where and uses that most of the time. Great experience with Flip; easy, point and record.
Ps: Terrible music IMHO! Such is life. Where's Benny Goodman or Buddy Holly, now that's music.
Yeah, I have a Flip camera, and wish I'd had it with me, but I didn't. Hence the jerkiness. Whatever. We just happened on this scene on a walk. These concerts have been popular for years, and I have always avoided them.
Wow, never have so many pasty white people been reunited in the same place at the same time, wearing such odd-looking garments, since the last Royal Enclosure at Ascot.

Without my glasses, the headline appeared, at first glance, to be "Madison Thongs."
CoololdersisterDell spotted at 1:32 and subsequent.
Are we going to watch PR now?
I, too, say "Madison Thongs" and, briefly, as the page loaded, I was giddy with anticipation.
Just where is Althouse going with this? I wondered.
And then she sticks us with high brow. Oh well.
Just picture them all in thongs. It will ease your anxieties.

"Whenever I hear the word 'culture,' I'm already reaching for my thong."

The music is Kol Nidrei, by Max Bruch. What's so bad about it? I think it's a rather fine piece.
A perfectly lovely American scene. But so filled with plastic tarps, containers and polyester clothes. They better be careful who they vote for.
How lucky that the gust front came through to take the heat off.
I also have never been to a Concert on the Square. Too crowded, too buggy.
Going to watch a bit of golf, today? I'll keep an eye on the leaderboard. Too bad it's up against the British Open...now I have two to watch.
zzzzzz.....
Ann and MadisonMan, any excuse in the summer to have wine and cheese outside in a public area is worth doing. Just don't try to park anywhere near it.

Men in shorts.
The horror, the horror...
I'd rather spend the evenings in the summer on my back deck, watching the hummingbirds fight over the feeder.
Sort of a John Cage themed concert.
