Back when Kennedy got his floor fight in 1980 behind by 750 delegates [and others way farther behind than 150 as Hillary is] it was covered by real journalists, like Brokaw, Kronkite, or Brinkley who were smart and careful and would enjoy the fun as they described the happenings of democracy on the floor and what was going on backstage. Today, it would be covered by red-faced souless hack gasbags like Russert, Matthews, and Blitzer who would gleefully tell us how divisive, destructive and discombobulated the entire process would be, and invent their preferred storylines up as they go. That's the difference in today's political discourse. There are record turnouts across the country entering the political process to have their voices heard, and all we hard is how destructive and harrowing it is.
