"Those aren't words. What does that mean? 'I'm sorry, I was wrong'?"

A meltdown implies (to me) a dramatic and sudden loss of functionality. Anger, sure, but also grief or complete shock (not a sudden, momentary surprise, but one the person doesn't recover from on the air).; 5/15/08, 3:29 PM

It can also imply liquidity. If a personal suddenly broken down into sobbing and nose-blowing, I would call that a meltdown.; 5/15/08, 3:47 PM
