"[Bill Clinton] can’t compute that he’s not the new kid on the block. It’s about his mortality — and immortality."

"He needs her to win because if she doesn’t become president, he goes down as a minor president. If she wins, it’s the Adamses and the Roosevelts and the Clintons."

A former Clinton adviser said to Maureen Dowd.

Hey, it better not just be Dick Morris again. Anyway, wanna psychoanalyze Bill Clinton again? (He fears death!) Dowd does.

It’s about his mortality — and immortality.

``Yet the immortality of the soul, that too, is as old as the world's foundations. What other belief will replace it, if replaced it must be? It will not always be a negation.''

He spent the week taking the fun out of dysfunction... Well, that would be dysction, and that doesn't make sense. Clinton never said that. Facts please, Maureen, facts. It's narcissism plain and simple, no need to overanalyze it or practice creative writing on it. And he's not the only Democratic ex-president who refuses to go quietly into the night, and who insists on drawing the spotlight to themselves no matter how damaging.

Eh. I think I have CWS - Clinton Weariness Syndrome. I'm just plain tired of the both of them.

CWS? I had that about 1995. Still have it. Latest symptom is a wicked cackle.

Nothing ails Billy Jeff that a 22 year old girlfriend couldn't cure.

Why aren't the Harrisons named? Or, more recently, the Bush clan? I understand they've held the Presidency for more than half of the past 20 years.

I fixed it.

It's about his morality -- and immorality.

I like how Althouse will dredge out the liberal academia approach to Obama's comments, and try to decipher the true underlying meaning of his words.

To find out something about a Clinton, it's "here Rubes, take Dick Morriss and Maureen Dowd's word for it. They're trash".

Yes, and the Bush's.

But I think its more about his morality and his immorality.

The Big Dog is really a loose cannon. As I say in my blog today, Bill is upset he won't be the first Black President anymore.

Both democratic campaigns are getting into trouble over their words:

Clinton for saying words that are untrue and raise honesty issues.

Obama for aying words that are true and raise uncomfortable issues.

Obama for saying words that raise judgment issues.
