Thou shalt not hold a referendum against Jihad.

Zawahiri will no doubt recognize Israel's right to exist after President Obama sits down to negotiate with him.

Al Qaeda is a spent force. Defeated by the incompetent Bush in Iraq. With total defeat in Iraq and no recent successes, their tirades will be ignored by the world media. Their recruiting will dry up. Radical Islam is being supplanted by the dreams of wealth in the arab world from $120 oil. Why blow yourself up when you can get rich.

Peace at last, at least until Obama invades Pakistan.

Asked if there are any women in Al Qaeda, the terror leader answered simply:

"No."

In a follow-up answer, he said: "there are no women in Al Qaeda jihadi group, but the women of the mujahedeen are playing a heroic role in taking care of their houses and sons."

The future of Islam is being seen by more and more as not coming from decayed Fundie societies but of modernizing and getting so sick of endless Jihad Muslims are finally aligning towards stopping the bloodshed against infidels AND Muslims. AQ badly miscalculated on their Central Front of Jihad by becoming seen as gleeful slaughterers and torturers of Muslims, despite the gift of the American Left, Jewish human rights lawyers and the 140 front page articles of NY Times trying to cast America as "the real torturers, atrocity commiters, and evil occupiers deserving to die."

"How can they put a matter that violates Sharia to a referendum?" he added.

Great capsule distillation of radical Islam. Democracy, human rights, and law outside Sharia has no place in their system - but such tools and beliefs may be turned against the infidels who believe in such stuff to further the Jihad and demographic strategy to impose Sharia all over the world. And for tactical reasons, encouragement of willing tools like Kenneth Roth of Human Rights Watch and CBS news and MultiCulti Euroweenies is a good, temporary thing. Though such tools will not physically exist under a radical Islamic future as they will have to convert or die.

George - Asked if there are any women in Al Qaeda, the terror leader answered simply:
"No."

Except that they HAVE used female suicide bombers, financiers, safe house operators, even women helping hubby make up the Shiite-killing car bombs. Islam practices Taqqiyah - open deceit of non-believers to advance the wealth, power, advancement and warfare of believers.(Making Islam one of two world religions, at least, where lying to non-believers vs. "their people" is religiously permissible.)

As in Iraq, eventually the population tires of being blown up by shitheads.

From the story:
"Barack Obama's top lieutenant also blasted moderate Democrats over their readiness to continue to support Hillary Clinton. "I call upon the liberal nation to fear the voters' judgment at election day, about its failure to line up behind Barack, and I urge it not to withhold men and money, which is the mainstay of a campaign," he said. He also used the two-and-a-half hour message to urge Clinton supporters to join Obama's groups, mainly in Indiana (site of the next primary), where he claimed that the fight to build support against Clinton's insurgency is bearing fruit."

Who knew!
(That's my Trooper York impression for the day.)

But not their daughters, of course. (Also, a nod to Cedarford for his observation that Al Qaeda is not above using their women, just having them be "members.")

There's also this tidbit:

Al-Zawahiri spoke on a wide range of issues, even global warming — which he said reflected "how criminal, brutal and greedy the Western Crusader world is, with America at the top."

He predicted that global warming would "would make the world more sympathetic to and understanding of the Muslims' jihad (holy war) against the aggressor America."

Fascinating. Ponder that one for moment and see what ends up running through your mind.

What? AQI's strategy of winning peoples' hearts by cutting off their heads has failed?

Shocking. I blame Bush.

Sounds a lot like a standard liberal talking point to me. The idea that Islamic headhacking fascists give a shit about global warming is laughable.

Clearly #2 gets Western news out there in the Pakistani hinterlands. Or maybe he just got Gore's movie on Netflix.

KCFleming म्हणाले...

Al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri clearly knows the talking points of the kind of Americans he thinks he'll be most able to deceive.

(I think number one is dust at the moment)

AQ to Truthers and your Iranian allies: STFU, we did so do it:

CAIRO, Egypt - Osama bin Laden's chief deputy in an audiotape Tuesday accused Shiite Iran of trying to discredit the Sunni al-Qaida terror network by spreading the conspiracy theory that Israel was behind the Sept. 11 attacks.

When you're target audience is useful idiots, you don't have to worry that they'll be smart enough to notice the cognitive dissonance.

Did anyone else notice the link

http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=D906VRSG5&show_article=1

to an article about Al-Qaida's no. 2 (shouldn't he be wearing an eyepatch) accusing Iran of spreading the rumor that Israel was behind the 9/11 attack. He's upset that the Sunni's are being denied credit. Apparently life imitates art (or at least comedy) since The Onion recently released this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q_OIXfkXEj0) where an Al-Qaida rep debates a 9/11 truther and is upset because Al-Qaida is denied its due credit.
