Lawyers like snowflakes

could such places not be used for better endeavors.

Not to do some freakonomics...or freakojurisprudence but why not co-relate lawyers have a hand in high crime rates and prison rates in America. Backwards, you know.

U.S., by far. There is one lawyer on every 300 americans. The U.S. has seventy percent of the world's lawyers but only five percent of the world's population.
Clarification: While it looks like the US has the most number of lawyers, the per capita numbers suggest Spain and Italy are not "by far" the most although the 1MM+ number is staggering.

they create more laws to disobey, or become constituionalists to argue with those creating more laws.
