Enjoy your vlogs. How come there are no postings abot your two new devices (Amazon's Kindle and Apple's iPhone)? Do you find Kindle allowing you to enjoy reading? Do you find iPhone allowing you to browse web, do email, take pictures relatively easily?
Well, I got thru about 40 minutes. I couldn't take anymore of those callers.
JFC, what a bunch anti-religious cranks and weirdos! Is everyone in Madison like this?
I don't know what was more incredible, their smugness or their self-righteous belief that Religion/Christmas should be driven from the public square simply because they wish it. Very fascist and very scary.
2. Who listens to the radio in the middle of the day?
3. Who listens to WORT? WORT has a lefty bent and an alternative feeling. If you're just twirling the radio dial, you know usually instantly by the tone that you've got WORT and not one of the Wisconsin Public Radio stations.

Ah memories... I was a UW undergrad when WORT went on the air (ca. 1975). I remember the evening after their first day I was in a bar where a bunch of WIBA-FM--back then, "Radio Free Madison" (ha!) jocks congregated. I heard one of them appraise WORT as "the Ted Mack Amateur Radio Hour."
Yeah, it takes a real pro to play "Stairway to Heaven" 40 times a day for 40 years. That would be WIBA. Radio Free Madison was great while it lasted.
WORT has some great music shows, produced by people who love the music. The noon talk shows are a refuge from reality for those elderly hippies still stuck in the vortex.

Support Obama on Jan. 3.
I thought I saw Dr. Johnnie Fever in the bullpen. I know that he doesn't have a Phd, so I wonder how you addressed him?
Nice hour.
The whole place though, has the feel of a public radio station
On which, here is my favorite public radio pitch for funds WBAI in NYC.

The callers reminded me of it.
