Just as bad as supporting your wife for president... ah never mind.
Shouldn't that read: "Humiliating the mother of your children by screwing your latest mistress (future 3rd ex-wife) in Gracie Mansion and thus permanently alienating said children." Bad Idea, Giuliani. c. 2001
For selfish reasons, I wouldn't want my father to be President either.
As I recall, the Bush twins weren't enthusiastic in 2000.
Bah, whatever. Neither of Reagan's children with Nancy ever supported him. (His daughter and adopted son with Jane Wyman did, though -- mind you, she was a Republican before he was.)
Just for clarity: Judith Nathan is Guiliani's second wife; the first union was annulled and that woman was, therefore, not ever his wife.
So that made Donna Hanover his first wife.
I don't see why adult kids should be compelled to support their parent for president. They are thinking people, and can form their own opinions. Furthermore I don't think it necessarily reflects poorly on their parent if they don't. Kids in their 20s have different priorities and views of life than older people. When I was 20 I held a lot of beliefs I have since recanted (I am now 49), and have learned a lot, and have a different perspective. (For one thing now I have kids of my own.) It may be that Guiliani appeals to older voters?
The reason it is a "bad idea" is that it makes the kids look small and petty -- especially since they're perfectly willing to take Rudy's money.

I guess when dad calls a press conference to announce he's divorcing your mother so he can marry the bimbo he's been philandering with, without telling you first, it might tend to get a kid a little upset.
And how do you know how much of "Rudy's money" these kids are taking, or what they're doing with it?

"I hate my daddy for divorcing mommy in a mean way! As soon as he's finished paying my way through the Ivy Leagues I'm never speaking to him again!"
