I doubt that Ann is a fan of speed art, but then, she probably hasn't seen JAO at work. I first saw her at the Art Car parade in Minneapolis, where she did her work on the back of a truck, rolling down Lyndale Avenue.
Here she is in a calmer environment: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xdJGJ8lPfgU&mode=related&search=
I liked the parade performance better.
And here's more examples of her work, if you care. http://www.jaoart.com/performance.shtml

Yoo--hoo anybody home? In case you hadn't heard: It's Fourth of July !!! We are all in Fourth of July mode.
Is this blog planning on going into a 24-hour Fourth of July format?
Or perhaps, Althouse will be shutting down to honor the holiday.
In any case, it's Fourth of July, and I'd expect a Constitutional Law professor would have something to patriotic to say!
Oh Maxine, you silly goose!
One can never have something "to[o] patriotic to say."
Patriotically Yours,
Bissage.
P.S. My flag's already hanging out!!!
Maxine: I'm trying to hint to people to "fly" the flag.
is the fly the state insect of wisconsin?

(But by golly, there's no more patriotic insect for the Fourth of July than the fly, . . ., er, . . ., except maybe the mosquito.)
How bout a red, white & blue flyswatter?
I hate flies.
I love flies.
Double A I know you were an art major in college and you are a 60s music fan so you might like this and might want to post a blog on it.
It's pure genius. Watch it for the kick at the end.
