"Is Batman a Republican?"

Like me, she heard the villain's name pronounced "Al Gore."

I think that mis-hearing "Al Ghul" pronounced "Al Gore" is a symptom of excessive Political Geekiness...

Then again, I shouldn't be one to talk. Being of those with excessive Comic Book Geekiness, I've been musing over the contradictory pronunciations of "Ra's"

(The animated series pronounced it "Raysh", the movie "Rahz")
