Why is that in quotes? Because I wrote it back in February 2020, in a post titled "You know I think Biden's new anti-Buttigieg ad is homophobic." And I'm using the tag again today and finding it interesting, again, to go back and see where I have used it before.

Donald Trump puts gays in his cabinet because they’re talented and he doesn’t much care about Thor sexual orientation. You voted for Pete Buttigieg only because he’s gay. As to his political and leadership skills, look at his tenure as Transportation Secretary, or better yet talk to a black resident of South Bend who lived there while he was mayor.

So, what you appear to be saying is that is okay to throw homophobic slurs around if you think the person is incompetent or chosen for a position because they are gay, but criticizing Scott Bissent because he is a homosexual is beyond the pale (not that I have ever seen direct criticism of Bissent's sexuality, except from the president).

I'm often homophobic. I have gay friends and sometimes they scare me. Just the other day they were at my house talking up the joys of fisting, and yea, that scared me a little. We might get a clearer answer if Trump and his allies had not spent months promising transparency, then reversing course when it came time to deliver. In July 2025, the DOJ declared that no further disclosure was warranted. Reporting subsequently revealed that Trump’s name appeared multiple times in the files and that Attorney General Pam Bondi had discussed this with him. The question remains: why the resistance, the reversals and the delays? If there is nothing to hide, release everything legally disclosable, with appropriate protections for victims, and let the evidence speak for itself.
Why didn't Biden open the files, rich? He had access for four years.
