A tall woman and her short man fiancé don't appreciate Fox News making them a topic for discussion...
... replete with the most cliché tall/short witticisms.

The punching down of the Fox News readers is unbecoming.
That’s not a cat in her lap.
An interesting variation on the Streisand Effect.
Is marrying the groom from the wedding cake allowed?
She is a magnificent creature, and he must be one tough s.o.b. to be the nation's top college wrestler. I wish them much happiness and lots of babies.
Dave Begley, you're a bad boy. But a funny one.
…that Fox lady was creepy- preachy as if there’s some biblical justification for the physical attributes of the guy that gets her nethers cranking…
The internet informs me that the quote comes from Henry Thomas Buckle, more or less, and not from Eleanor Roosevelt.
When you find yourself in front of a TV network that is down to this as a story, complete with a professionally paid opinionator, it's probably time to turn the TV off entirely and fill your brain- and your time of life- with something else.
Man in shorts gets the girl.
A fetus... feature of Diversity (e.g. color judgment, class bigotry).
Wielding a liberal license? Maybe, baby. Abort. Sequester. Progress no move.
Wow.
"No one asked, by the way." Exactly! And dumb jokes about height in bed? Notice that the young woman and her fiancé don't attack Jesse Watters and Julie Banderas personally--**and they, at least, would have deserved it, under the circumstances.**
Talk about having a big, primetime platform and using it to punch down gratuitously. They must be so proud!
Whatever their heights, the people who are truly "small" here are Watters and Banderas. Color me unsurprised in this day and age.
The short and tall of gender differences between the sexes has, on average, a binary distribution.
Does anyone else think it's weird that they filmed their TickTock response while lying in bed?
With none of us ever watching the Channel we must depend on TikTok to show us the stupidest shit Fox wastes time on while ignoring actual NEWS happening all over. Corporate Media sucks and cable/streaming corporate news is often bottom of the barrel.
Call Me Names (I Love It When You)
Big woman
And a short short man
And he loves it
When she beats his brains out
He's pecked to death
And he loves the pain
And he loves it
When she calls him names
Men without shorts sitting behind the desk, off camera having a gay old time. Women lying in bed having, chatting, having a gay old time. Tick tock. We live in interesting times.
Curious George - LOL. lolololol
Local news is like that. Unnecessary opinionating on non-news items. Lame.
Just shut up about your opinion.
Temujin - ###.
I hardly watch any news on the TV. or any TV in general. I do spend too much time on the web.
The only news guy I like is a local guy named Chris Parente. I love him.
How does 69 work with such a discrepancy?
People are more worried about things like this since the Attack of the 50 Foot Woman in 1958.
I like short people. They fight good.
“A tall woman and her short man fiancé don't appreciate Fox News making them a topic for discussion replete with the most cliché tall/short witticisms.”
It’s happened before:
“Sophia Loren stood between 5 ft 8.5 in and 5 ft 9 in (1.74 m – 1.75 m), making her noticeably taller than Carlo Ponti, who was 5 ft 4 in to 5 ft 5 in (1.63 m – 1.65 m).Because of her statuesque height, voluptuous build, and preference for high heels, the contrast between them was quite striking—with contemporary media often colorfully describing Ponti as "twice her age and half her height". In fact, Loren's height occasionally made some of her male co-stars hesitant to share the screen with her, as her hair and shoes could easily make her tower over six feet tall.”
“Imagine being in the worst aspects of junior high school, 24 hours a day, forever.”
--Greg Lukianoff on social media
Why I don't watch Jesse Watters on anything. He's just a mean girl and in this instance had Julie Bendz on to snark.
Imagine, two people not considering how they look as a couple....to other petty people.
I see some of those channels that collect dating complaint Tik Toks. The be in the in crowd, a woman must want a man over 6' which cuts out 85.5% of all men. Then complain "where have all the good men gone". Once a woman has declared that how the couple looks in photos matters most, then the smart shorter man doesn't trust her later age compromise just to have a husband.
“A husband is almost always only a substitute for the beloved man, and not this man himself” — Sigmund Freud
That's a bad trait in a world where divorce happens at the drop of a hat. Best to not entangle finances
Women who use their brains will eventually figure out that tall men have the same pretty privilege pretty women have.
Being tall as a man and being pretty as a woman leads to an assumption of competence deserved or not. So the people who grow up with this grow up treated well no matter how competent they are.
Women judge all men by the tall ones who are much more likely to be assholes than short men because women ignore short men. Women who break this pattern must be shamed by the other beautiful people.
After you get in a certain range - its mostly irrelevant. A 5-10 woman with a 5-8 man wont raise that many eyebrows.
Money and fame are usually the equalizer. How tall is Paul Simon's wife? Is chuck todd, who's like 5-2, married?
I remember some tennis star who dated Rory McIllory complained about how short he was. "I had to go around in flats" she snarked. Rory is 5-9 and she was 5-10.
Many Female tennis stars are now 5-10 to 6 feet. The days of Chris Evert Lloyd are long gone.
I think I'll just go on judging by 'content of character', which is why I didn't watch the video and more especially, why I don't watch television. I especially enjoy not watching Fox News.
The funniest thing about men's height is the superiority complex some men have. They honestly think they're superior because they're two inches taller than another man. And usually on the internet everyone is 6 feet and over.
As someone who's 5-10 I can sneer at the dwarfs and the giraffes.
BTW, is that really a woman? Or is this a transgender? Anyway, they do look funny together, not really because of the height difference, but because she's built like a NFL linebacker, and he's built like peter pan.
What people consider "attractive" is really hard-wired into us through evolution. With men its tallness, broad sholders, narrow hips, strong chins, hair, and strength. And a deep voice.
I watched some of their other TikToks. They look like they genuinely enjoy each other's company and have fun together.
"How does 69 work with such a discrepancy?"
[shrug] I imagine pretty much the same way it works when the discrepancy goes the other way.
Fox news doesn't need to pick on people. It's lame. Makes them look small.

Fox News is small.
It is owned by the same globalists that own the rest of the media.
Romney/Fox Republicans are the problem. People that think Fox news in on the side of America First are the problem.
Achilles - There are shows in Fox that are worth watching.
You better stick with BS NOW. That's your speed.
Don't pretend you know what it's like being tall, Achilles. When your a little kid, strangers think your retarded. When getting caught in mischief, you are always assumed the ring leader. At the age of 8, they put you in a PE class with kids 3 to 4-years older whom kick your ass. This is why we become leaders. Willing to take the blame for the behavior of others. And us smart ones don't fall for the Napoleon trope. That's why many of my best friends are short. Besides, every squad needs a second story man or a tunnel rat. None of my short friends had trouble with the ladies. I was a bit jealous because their faces were closer to the girls hooters.
It's really all about confidence, no matter how tall or short you are.
Also, Fox News babe - love is love. Don't be so square and closed minded.
Heightism. Mean, but not wicked girls. Progress? Empathetic.
Toe to toe, his nose is in it.
Nose to nose, his toes is in it.
I think Gutfeld"s wife is quite a bit taller than he is, but then again, who isn't (with the possible exception of Dana Perino)?
And then you’ve got SOPHIE CUNNINGHAM… amirite!? 👌
I was tall as a boy but the only drawback of that as far as I was concerned was the assumption that I was good at basketball, or wanted to be.
Wrong on both counts.
“Short people got no reason…”

Iman: Gender relatively.
But I guess making a TikTok video of you bitching in your bed with your tiny man futzing about in the background IS tasteful. Got it.
I had a friend in college who was 6-6 and very unhappy about. He'd often say he would rather be 6-3 or 6-2. Beds didn't fit. Clothes that fit were hard to get. And smaller guys (aka everybody) would pick fights with him.
And yes, and everyone thought he was a basketball star. And he wasnt. Most BB stars aren't just tall, they're reasonably fast and have good hand eye coordination. And my 6-6 friend was a little on the slow side. I beat him in tennis by lobbying over his head or running him from side to side.
Given the advancement in racquets over 40 years, he'd probably beat me. If we had todays equipment and a time machine. But given the wooden racquets back then, big guys couldn't just bang away - unless they had great hand-eye coordination.
Same thing has happened in golf. the sweet spot on the old clubs was very small when compared to today. Tall guys could hit it a mile, but sometimes they hit it a mile over the fence.
Head down, she lets
She gives, good as she gets
More liquor, it don't help
He's lookin’, for a yelp
She decided eventually
This ain't doing a thing for me

TikTok. Tick tock. Weird and sometimes queer. Interesting themes.
Does he ride in her pocket?
The marriages I’ve seen with this disparity are all successful. That’s anecdotal but, as with the big man/petite woman affinity, I suspect the height difference fuels some essential attraction in both people.
And, as someone observed upthread, you don’t have that kind of wrestling success without being absolutely lion-hearted.
"My eyes are up here"
That raises the question whether when they hug she appears to him to have one breast. The usual situation is one eye.
He's an asset in a limbo dance. What does she bring to the parade? Gender differences.
She's abreast his head.
Via AI:
U.S. Male Height Distribution by Inch Brackets
5’5” (65.0" to 65.9"): 6.4%
5'6" (66.0" to 66.9"): 9.2%
5'7" (67.0" to 67.9"): 11.8%
5'8" (68.0" to 68.9"): 13.4%
5'9" (69.0" to 69.9"): 13.6% (The national average peak)
5'10" (70.0" to 70.9"): 12.2%
5'11" (71.0" to 71.9"): 9.8%
6'0" and above (72.0"+): 14.5% – 15.9%
Now, at 5’1”, I’m shorter than most grown people. Looking up is the norm.
My son’s father, 6 foot, always went for short. My son, mid20s and also 6 foot, has had girlfriends of various heights, including slightly taller. Might be a generational thing, I wonder.
A big point of the social is engagement numbers.
The couple can always make theirs private.
Today, I have little to no sympathy for them.
Heh. I was able to wear my son’s hand-me-downs (T-shirts, hoodies) by the time he hit 7th grade. LOL.
Artifices permeates every aspect of social interaction. It is therefore not superficial, but envelops the entire culture. This discrepant couple’s existence is an insult to perceived reality. I salute them. Even if they are funny looking. Maybe especially because they are funny looking.
In other words, it’s all bullshit to bottom side to side.
At 6'1" I'm (slightly) shorter than my three brothers, and our father was taller than any of us. My mother was tall for a woman of her generation but without affecting her sons' heights much.
My wife is slightly shorter than average and our son reverted to the mean. He's about 5' 10" I think.
As for soixante-neuf, I think length of legs and torso are more relevant than raw measures of overall height.
Sophie Cunningham is 6'1" and I would love to look up into her eyes from my longing 5'11".
If your fiancé is much taller than you, do you still have to propose on your knees?
“As for soixante-neuf, I think length of legs and torso are more relevant than raw measures of overall height.”
I don’t see why that’s relevant at all. If a circle is made up of two arcs they don’t have to be the same length.
75% of men who say they are 6" are slightly less.
I’m about average height, and in olden times I wouldn’t have minded dating, say, a female high jumper. At all. The other two dimensions are much more of a concern.
"How does 69 work with such a discrepancy?"
For him a mouth full of belly button lint.
Fox Fair Use?
You never know how people are going to use something. If you are going to mind, don't put it up.

Six INCHES?! Freudian slip, perhaps?
I was always the smallest kid I knew, until I met an even tinier Japanese girl in 4th grade. My first serious SO was 5'1/8", and insisted on the 1/8". My wife of many decades is essentially my height.
Bless them all, Bless them all, The long and the short and the tall. Bless old man Grumman for building this ship, But I know a man who is cursing him yet.
Sophie Cunningham is 6 foot. Caitlin Clark is 5’10.5. The WNBA inflates heights as much as the NBA.
Paul Simon (5’3) and his wife (5’9) have been married for over 36 years. Social media tends to distort.
Audie Murphy was 5’5. The Short King of Kings.
Miles Vorkosigan always went for tall woman partner.
Small man syndrome is a real thing. I'm 6 foot one, and I've encountered it much more than most people. It is especially prevalent among lawyers.
Fox is geared toward a low common denominator.
@Smilin' Jack--you may have to draw me a picture.
On second thought . . .
The mode and median height of Americans used to be 5-10. Women used to be 5-4. Of course, that hides some wide variations when you break it down by ethnic group, it would look different. Surprisingly, given the domination of the NBA by Blacks, the average height for USA blacks and whites around 1980 was the same.
Movie stars used to be much shorter although - again - that hides some big variations. Cooper, Wayne, Stewart, Fonda were pretty damn tall. But Bogart at 5-8 was the tallest leading man at Warner Brothers. Shorties like Paul Muni, EG Robinson, Cagney, and John Garfield looked up to him.
But you can get around shortness in movies. Bogart sat on Seat cushions so he'd looked taller than Ingrid Bergman - they were the same height. And it wasn't hard for Bogart to look like the tough guy when he surrounded by Peter Lorre and Elisha Cooke in Maltese Falcoln.
Mickey Spillane said he loved making movies because as the star he was always the tallest man in the room.
The most hilarious mismatch of height in co-stars is All the Presidents men. They had to avoid shooting Hoffman and Redford so that people realized that Dustin was a little shrimp. So throughout most of the movie the two are always shot at a certain angle to disguise that. Or they're shot sitting down.
Most absurd brother pair - Burt Lancaster and Audie Murphy. And Audrey Hepburn is their sister kidnapped by Indians. LOL.
I can understand why people are so proud of being tall. It took a lot of hard work on their part
Burt Reynolds was 5’11. He said no actor in Hollywood says he’s 5’11. Sums it up pretty well.
