With the release of his diary, Anthony Fauci will go down in history as one of the most evil people ever. How many lives were ruined because of this guy? This liar. This bureaucrat.

Today I found myself musing about a fourth estate that ruthlessly policed itself to represent both sides of the electorate. Imagine how much less polarized we would be if you had to read a couple of articles that elucidated lefty priorities, followed by articles curated to spotlight conservative issues, and each side was able to make their best argument without the cherry-picking and demonization from the other side. Crazy, I know.

'... Imagine how much less polarized we would be if you had to read a couple of articles...'

The problem as I see it, is that the people advancing party platforms, and much more importantly, public policy, are allowed to do this in a safe atmosphere with zero challenge, virtually no confrontation, and no opportunity that allows the public to exercise judgment in real time. It's an artifice that allows leaders and people in power to escape any potential form of being held to account, in advance - and it's aided & abetted by the so-called Fourth Estate, which has really become a well-organized Fifth Column.

We shouldn't be presented with the rule of untested policies, effectively by declaration and edict. These should be first tested in the crucible of debate, and their worth assessed under the pressure of being proven wrong or disputed. And this should be happening before policy measures are put into effect.

It really is the reason that a Parliamentary form of government exists in the first place, to subject ideas to critical assessment and even criticism, where merited.

Start here.
Evil criminal vermin are being paid by the State (of Minnesota) to carry out guerilla attacks on the children of normal humans. They see the sanity of our children as a necessary aspect of our flourishing, and they see their tax-supported sinecures as salients from which they can attack our way of life, by destroying the lives of our children.

Now. I am at a certain perplexity, as to what to make of this. If I were to walk out in my yard, and see a rattlesnake-- coiled, venomous, ready to poison my children -- I would pick up a shovel and strike its head off (shovels need to sharpened fairly often, or they become less effective). I wouldn't initiate a discussion, or attempt to "reason" with the viper. Just whack its head off. Buh-bye.

Hold On Kids....Yes Fauci is an arrogant leech who has been feeding off government bloat for decades. Yes Fauci is personally responsible for a couple thousand deaths of gay men in the 90s by his corrupt influence over where AIDS dollars were spent--and his pig-headed determination to develop a HIV3 vaccine, rather than the successful and life saving viral suppression therapies. Yes Fauci is married to Christine Grady, a bioethicist who also worked at the NIH, and Yes Mrs. Fauci was responsible for maintaining ethical standards over her husband while he funneled money to dog torture, and bat virus gain of function in China. and Yes Fauci took a pardon for unknown reasons from Biden.

BUT remember Fauci was TRUMP'S little pet. Trump gave up a part of the spotlight and microphone time. (and we all know how Trump feels about sharing the lime-light.) Trump supported Fauci et. al. Trump was bigly mad at Kemp in GA and Desantis in FL for opening up their states while Fauci demanded that private businesses must comply with dictates from NIH, not best practices or good guidance, but orders and prosecutions of churches and citizens. And Trump was ALL-IN.

I'm not a never-trumper, I'm not a Trump-lover. I want to hear the best reasoning and logic around how long Trump was a Fauci-lover and when did that change. Wasn't there a Presidential Medal of Freedom or somethin that Trump gave that wicked little gnome?
Trump is supposed to know how to pickem and know how to fire them. This is major bad news about Covid that is coming out. All of it under Trump's watch.

Breezy म्हणाले...

Though far far less a punishment than deserved, I bet every single person mentioned in the Fauci Files will turn their back on him. And anyone who simply knows him without being named may do so as well, if they’re not blind or stupid. Everyone was negatively impacted by his vicious lies, many permanently. Ostracizing him would be one small step toward justice.

Mike (MJB Wolf) म्हणाले...

Really enjoying the Fauci Diary entries. Presently his entry early in early 2020 is my favorite passage in which he writes that the lethality of Covid is exactly the same as seasonal flu. (Look it up in the archives and I wrote exactly the same thing here at the time.) But publicly Fauci said that same day that Covid was “10 times as deadly” as the flu and then bragged to his diary that he had “caused an immediate drop” in the stock market.

Dude was mad with power and evil incarnate. This makes him one of those few public figures who look EXACTLY like they are. He should never play poker.

Leland म्हणाले...

What makes Fauci evil wasn’t that he was wrong most of the time. He’s evil because he was right, but when forced to act, or give guidance on how to act to others, he lied to them (and for the terminally TDS ill, Fauci and Deborah Birx lied to Trump and Congress). Fauci is especially evil because he was told by law from Congress to not fund gain of function research, and he continued to do so by changing the definition and skirting the law. That appears to be a major motivation to continue lying.

Mike (MJB Wolf) म्हणाले...

As of yesterday the NYT had made ZERO mentions of the Diary (just like they ignore Ashley Biden’s diary!) or the other documents released by Rand Paul. Apparently the DNC has not decided yet how the Times should spin it. Fauci co-conspirators have in some cases already been deposed.

Just another problem Democrats can’t deal with.

Mike (MJB Wolf) म्हणाले...

“Fauci lover,” eh? Trump took the medical advice of the top scientists employed by the government. Trump is no epidemic expert. Fascinating that Olson here elides those facts to go right at Trump dishonesty, twisting the record.

It was obvious to me and my wife that Trump free skeptical of Fauci’s irrational statements and weaselly nature. Birx brags in her book how they tricked Trump into recommending “two weeks to stop the spread” knowing that D governors had already told Fauci’s team that they would close everything down as long as possible.

Then there’s all Fauci’s statements that indicate he hated Trump and wanted to cause economic chaos because the economy was booming. Then there’s Fauci who held daily press conferences and reveled in the attention and conspired with Lefty reporters and politicians to further his agenda.

Stick around after the hearings Olson and see if you can get answers to your questions.

Jaq म्हणाले...

I see that Bibi has come to town to give Trump his orders, and that Republicans in the House have passed a bill that Netanyahu himself called a “merger” of the US and Israeli militaries and from its passing into law will tie the hands of the US President and Congress when dealing with Israel.

Among American Jews the mayor of NYC is more popular than Netanyahu, per polling. The preponderance of support for Israel comes from Christians who think that all of these deaths will bring back Jesus, and I hate to break it to you, but Israeli Zionists don’t believe this and are just playing American Christians.

Mike (MJB Wolf) म्हणाले...

One last blatant lie:

“All of it under Trump's watch.”

Except the most deaths happened under Biden. Schools stayed closed under Biden. But what we get from the lying Corporate Media is “Trump says drink bleach” and “light has been used to kill the virus.” Both of these twisted stories were extracted from actual briefings Trump got by top epidemiologists who did use bleach and UV light to kill Covid viruses. People here endlessly repeated the false narratives “drink bleach” and “lightbulbs in lungs” just like the lying leftist Media did. It’s simply the “fine people” hoax for Covid.

Fauci had been burrowed into the permanent bureaucracy for over 40 years and was the head NIAID, which is THE agency dedicated to infectious diseases, so he would have been point man in any administration. Trump had no forewarning about Fauci and Birx and he gave Fauci the prominent position in press conferences because of his specialized knowledge and so the public would hear it directly from the top experts.

Do you think Trump should have ignored the top experts in Public Health working for him? Should Trump have known of the secret research that his own intelligence chiefs kept out of Trump’s PDB?

And you called it “disinformation” then LOL yet Fauci’s own words (in private) were EXACTLY what I was saying. You quoted his public comments.

You should read up on “excess deaths” especially the “all causes” category and get back to us. Kai Akker म्हणाले...

Mike, you are fighting a strange battle here. You took off on "Olson Johnson is right" and labeled him a "Fauci lover." And then wrote of "another blatant lie" that you found in his comment.

Nothing in his comment sounds like the words of a Fauci-lover to me, and I believe he has most of his facts right. That is why I replied as I did.

I have no problem myself with Trump fast-tracking the development of a vaccine. But that wasn't the issue here. The Covid fiasco was not the sole product of Joe Biden and the Democrats. That’s a fact that he took credit for creating a fast track for the vaccine because he did it like a good executive, fund the right people and get out of the way. Why don’t you spell out WHAT you think Trump should have done or known at the time.

And I’ll point out your ongoing dishonesty here in berating me for saying Trump is infallible. I am well aware of his fallibility, such as trusting his experts too long. So you’re not backing up your slander with an example of me saying “infallible”?

Trump resented Fauci's insubordination, but Fauci had such a following in the government and in media that Trump couldn't just drop him or fire him. The president may have thought that being seen as "anti-science" in a national crisis was worse than putting up with Fauci.
