Ceuta is a Spanish enclave located on the northeast tip of Morocco. It's part of Africa. There are other Spanish enclaves in Morocco inlcuding Melilla. Also, there is a Spanish enclave called Llivia that is completely located inside France.

It really is remarkable watching the videos, because you see mostly see young adult men crossing the border. They claim to be seeking a better life, but what about the women? The wives, mothers, sisters, or girlfriends? No better life for them?
From the videos I've seen, the residents of Ceuta are not exactly welcoming their new friends. There have been fights in the streets, and no one is helping them. Perhaps they'll get the hint.
Just a reminder for the people who blame all of Africa's problems on Europeans, colonialism started with the Scramble for Africa in the late 19th century and ended by the late 1950s. It was 50 or 60 or 70 years. That's it. It's hard to argue that the massive amounts of money that Europeans spent during these five decades on African infrastructure and economic integration somehow retarded Africa's economic development and led to long-term poverty and exploitation.
There are numerous examples of countries being laid to waste (Korea, Japan, Poland and even Greece and Israel) that become normal, healthy liberal democracies in a matter of decades. What exactly is Africa's problem?

I'd like some enterprising journalist to tell me who specifically is behind this. Fifty thousand Moroccans didn't all just spontaneously decide to rush the Spanish border at the same time. As it is, the media focuses on the personal motives of the individual Moroccans involved -- "I'm barely getting by as sous chef!" -- rather than approaching the event as the coordinated operation that it obviously must be.

Was it here that somebody posted about Pedro Sanchez's policies relating to immigration and someone responded that the policies related to the many legal and illegal Spanish-speaking immigrants from Latin America already living in Spain? That may have been true (or not), but what's going on now is the consequence. It seems like 90% of liberal/progressive argument is ignoring or not considering the unintended consequences of government policies.
Been traveling internationally a bit the last year or so. Many places require passport for entry and when checking into hotels or air bnb. Panama wants proof of return transport and $500 financial support. Looks like other places are easier to get in.

Fun fact -- Female professional judges are more prevalent in most EU countries. They are the clear majority in all European countries (except Ireland). This is not relevant to the Spain discussion here, but I thought I'd point out that Israel was in this position with Gaza, and Israel, that genocidal, power-hungry pariah nation, removed its own citizens from Gaza, forcibly when necessary, so that the "Palestinians" could have full control of the area.

The scary part about this is that the migrants are equal to about 80% of the population of the city. The city simply cannot support that many people. So what's going to happen when the food starts to run low?

When Biden was running for President he and his team put out the word that when he becomes President we will welcome everyone into our country. Our border will be open to the world.
When he became President, he backed up their campaign statements and then some: breaking down attempts by the State of Texas to protect itself, arranging national transport (in the dark of night) across the nation to repopulate various states strategically, house them, feed them, offer medical help, education, clear out hotels for them to take over, and on top of that, a monthly stipend to 'help' them.
You get more of what you subsidize, less of what you tax. And so the caravans of migrants formed and came across over the succeeding 3 years of Biden's term, protected by the media and the Democrats in Congress. Ceuta is directly across from Gibralter so that once Morocco is in charge of Ceuta, Muslims will have another chokepoint on world trade. Morocco can get tolls, millions of dollars for doing nothing, just the way Iran wants at Hormuz and the Houthis at the Red Sea. They'll choke off trade in the end because selfish greed will lead to constantly rising tolls. They were doing the same thing in 1492 and this is why the Europeans sought other trade routes, resulting in the discovery of America and in the development of ships capable of going around Africa and South America. The greed was circumvented for awhile but it's back in charge in the Mediterranean.
The young men in shorts we see "emigrating" are tools for this takeover. Many are Africans who got to Morocco but couldn't get further. They were told they could get into Spain at Ceuta by rushing it as a group. They won't get to Spain but Morocco will get Ceuta - the real plan. This also a part of the demographic crisis affecting Europe. Spain has birthrate below the replacement rate. that creates a certain demographic regime in which as a whole people are well off when they are young and poor and neglected when they are old. There's no one to look after the old in Spain. It can't be their own children because they didn;t have them and it can't be other people's children because other people also didn't have children or, if they did, those children are busy with their own parents. So one "solution" is to bring in African immigrants. And isn't it bitterly ironic that liberla s and socialists persuaded people not to have children - "think of the planet, climate change , Mother Earth." And now the liberals and socialists are bringing in waves of strangers from other cultures because young people are needed to care for the people who had no children as instructed and to do the work. But can Africans from another culture do what Spanish culture has organized for Spanish workers to do? Can strangers care for the old? It won't work.
Learn to ask what demographic regime you are creating with your choices in relation to children. The one now existing, as I say above, is few children which means well-off ypung people and poor, neglected older people. Is euthanasia a better answer than unrestricted immigration to the problems created by the demographic regime? What a world we live in where that is a timely question.

Per the secret agreement between the two countries, two weeks after the fascist Germans invaded Poland, the communist Soviet Union invaded as well. The Slovak State, a puppet of the Nazis, also sent some troops supporting the Germans.
In total, 2 million troops, mostly German and Soviet, were in Poland by mid-September.
