On Jan. 23, 2016, Donald Trump was campaigning in Iowa when he made a remarkable announcement: "I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn't lose any voters, OK?"
-------------
Now we know that he really meant this. Not as a joke. Not as NYC hyperbole. But as what he really believed. Trump really believes that you can shoot anyone in the face and kill them if they are filming his ICE officers at a protest, and they will be granted total immunity from prosecution. We are in the End Times.

The incomplete quote from lonejustice was a joke, and if you watch his full line on video you can see the humorous delivery. But, more importantly, his first two words are ‘They say’ (I could…) He wasn’t making the claim, just repeating what someone else had said. And he was laughing.

Trump knows that "peaceful protesters" don't bring two extra mags worth of ammunition to a "peaceful protest."

You just aren't going to win lonejustice.

Yes the subway video is AI, but NYC-area cops do have their own version of the Supremacy Clause: the man in the bag is always right (the "bag" being the blue uniform, which NYPD has never been into severely tailoring, pressing or spit-shining, cuz dey got woik ta do).

A few years back, the Port Authority PD locked up a TSA guy for trying to stop one of their officers from going through a checkpoint at Newark. I never found out what finally happened in that one. TSA aren't actually supposed to stop anyone, so perhaps it was seen as a frolic and detour rather than exercise of his federal powers. (I would of course disagree with that: for the Supremacy Clause to mean anything at all, cases have to be heavily interpreted in the fed employee's favor) CC, JSM

It would seem as if he caused it in the first moment of shock. "Did you have to turn that rock over? Ten thousand lakes, and can't I walk by one without you finding maggots?" The longer the confusion continues, the more likely it becomes that public opinion is going to continue shifting in the favor of Federal law enforcement carrying on with its sworn duties. The Progressives hope they can inflame passions - provoking incidents, berating ICE, obstructing legal activities, provoking lethal force. That's manna from heaven right there, poking Trump with a stick to get him to send in the troops.

But I think that won't happen. As long as ICE is successful elsewhere - where the police are cooperating and playing on the team - people are smart enough to make simple comparisons. Why doesn't the same happen in Minneapolis? Then they'll start to read - and question.

And in weather, we here in CNY seem to be getting the amount of snow predicted. Which is highly unusual since weather here is predictably unpredictable. I've so far avoided taking the tractor out. But I've also been going out every 2-3 hours for 20 minutes scooping off 2-4 inches of snow rather then waiting for 18" to fall. In single digit weather all day. Our driveway isn't all that big. 2) tires matter more than anything.
3) the issue with an EV in the cold is that range goes down.

BTW, I've had three EVs, and I still have an R1S. I think that EVs are the best vehicles for most people, for most situations. I also have more than two dozen other ICE cars, so I don't think only having an EV is a good option.

“In his remarks, which lasted about 10 minutes and were reportedly made in a private meeting with donors sometime last year, Cruz portrays himself as an economically-minded, pro-interventionist who has the president’s ear.

Domestically, Cruz cautioned donors about Trump’s tariffs, which he said could result in severe economic and political consequences. Cruz is reportedly heard telling donors that he told the president “if we get to November of [2026] and people’s 401(k)s are down 30% and prices are up 10–20% at the supermarket, we’re going to go into Election Day, face a bloodbath.”

Cruz said a conversation he had with Trump about tariffs “did not go well,” and that Trump was “yelling” and “cursing.” Cruz said Trump told him: “F*** you, Ted.”

“Trump was in a bad mood,” Cruz said. “I’ve been in conversations where he was very happy. This was not one of them.”“

“Alex Pretti was killed Saturday. Within hours, a Jewish community gathered to mark the end of Shabbat — and to reckon with his death.

The shock of his killing rippled quickly through Temple Israel of Minneapolis. As night fell, they joined online with Jews throughout the region to acknowledge the loss during Havdalah, the brief ritual that separates sacred time from the workweek, folding an act of communal mourning into the moment when Shabbat slips away.

The service, typically meditative and transitional, took on added weight. Alongside the familiar blessings, congregants spoke of Pretti — of the violence that ended his life and of the unease that followed them into a new week.”

le Douanier చెప్పారు...

Gospace, so you are going on the record to say that you are against overthrowing the government? And you hate that DJT let the criminals that were convicted of attacking the Capitol and police on J6 go free. Right?

Or, are saying that the criminals that were convicted of attacking police on J6 were not attacking police on J6, even though they lost in trials? Hence their trials and convictions were deep state fraud, and these folks did not do what they were convicted of hence they should not pay for the crimes that they did (according to the law of the United States of America)? So you do support DJT giving a free pass to the J6 criminals. Just as I'm sure you like DJT giving Hernandez a pardon because he wasn't really a drug king pin. And I'm sure you like DJT taking funds from Venezuela oil and putting it in a Quatari bank account that he personally controls. Likewise you love him starting a crypto scheme days before being sworn in. And I'm sure you like him cheating contractors and normal folks (for example him being court ordered to pay twenty-five million to the retards that paid for the Trump University scam). And I'm sure you love that he was best friends with Epstein, and he's been convicted of sexual assault.

You are dedicated to DJT.

So you want to get into "removals" v "returns" re deportations.

Okay, BHO got up to 2.7 million removals.

BTW, I don't care that this number is a bit less than three million, that doesn't change the point I'm making when I use this data. My biggest problem is that this is an esthetically ugly thing to type. To be technically correct I'll need to state that BHO deported more than three million people that included 2.7 million removals and 0.3 million returns.

That verbiage = yuck! IMHO.

I see this crisis in MN and other sanctuary states as a willful adaptation of "The Palestinian Victim Model.” Radical groups (e.g., Hamas, Antifa, Socialists, Communists, Students for Justice in Palestine, and other NGO's, and local Democratic Party officials, etc.) have seen how effective the media has been in demonizing Israel in the last two years. This victim narrative is now being used here to provoke outrage towards law enforcement. We are hearing elected officials referring to our law enforcement agents as Gestapo, etc. We see people being instructed to obstruct law enforcement. We see essentially harmless people such as a "poet" and a "nurse" doing incredibly stupid things like blocking traffic, ramming ICE vehicles, chasing down and physically accosting law enforcement officers, believing nothing bad should happen to them as a consequence. People who would never be involved in violence towards police are suddenly putting themselves in danger. These newly minted tough guys have no appreciation for the real danger which law enforcement agents face to remove criminals and protect non-violent people. Police are never perfect but they are willing to do dangerous work. Why would any sane person who respects law enforcement try to interrupt and antagonize them? Why would elected officials actively push ordinary people to become victims, to join a cause to sacrifice their lives in order to prevent violent criminals from being arrested and deported?

The outrage over the deaths of Good and Pretti serves the political agenda of the organizations pulling the strings in the background. Lots of the funding for these related groups come from the same sources, anti-American of course. In the case of MN, the immediate goal is to energize the Democratic Party voters and protect the fraudsters who keep the Democrats in power. Their ultimate goal is to undermine and destroy the US from within.

Something not much talked about is the woman Pretti went to assist. In most routine policing situations, when someone gets shoved or slammed to the ground, one of two things usually happens:

The person is arrested (for interference, obstruction, resisting, etc.), or the officer’s use of force is clearly justified and documented.

The fact that this woman was pushed to the ground and then seemingly just… left there, with no arrest and no public charge should raise eyebrows.

Maybe this bullying and thuggery, you know, just beat a few or slam a few to the ground and move on is the lawlessness the Gulibles refuse to see.

The public at large hears "In Minneapolis and across the country..." from these fools and dismiss it because in 99% of cities such chaos does not reign, because the leaders do not incite insurrection, and their elected Democrats are not running a criminal Signal chat that doxes agents and sends terrorists to disable ICE patrols and block them.

https://x.com/Schwalm5132/status/2015470661490057540

As a former Special Forces Warrant Officer with multiple rotations running counterinsurgency ops—both hunting insurgents and trying to separate them from sympathetic populations—I’ve seen organized resistance up close. From Anbar to Helmand, the pattern is familiar: spotters, cutouts, dead drops (or modern equivalents), disciplined comms, role specialization, and a willingness to absorb casualties while bleeding the stronger force slowly.

What’s unfolding in Minneapolis right now isn’t “protest.” It’s low-level insurgency infrastructure, built by people who’ve clearly studied the playbook.

Signal groups at 1,000-member cap per zone. Dedicated roles: mobile chasers, plate checkers logging vehicle data into shared databases, 24/7 dispatch nodes vectoring assets, SALUTE-style reporting (Size, Activity, Location, Unit, Time, Equipment) on suspected federal vehicles. Daily chat rotations and timed deletions to frustrate forensic recovery. Vetting processes for new joiners. Mutual aid from sympathetic locals (teachers providing cover, possible PD tip-offs on license plate lookups). Home-base coordination points. Rapid escalation from observation to physical obstruction—or worse.

This isn’t spontaneous outrage. This is C2 (command and control) with redundancy, OPSEC hygiene, and task organization that would make a SF team sergeant nod in recognition. Replace “ICE agents” with “occupying coalition forces” and the structure maps almost 1:1 to early-stage urban cells we hunted in the mid-2000s.

The most sobering part? It’s domestic. Funded, trained (somewhere), and directed by people who live in the same country they’re trying to paralyze law enforcement in. When your own citizens build and operate this level of parallel intelligence and rapid-response network against federal officers—complete with doxxing, vehicle pursuits, and harassment that’s already turned lethal—you’re no longer dealing with civil disobedience. You’re facing a distributed resistance that’s learned the lessons of successful insurgencies: stay below the kinetic threshold most of the time, force over-reaction when possible, maintain popular support through narrative, and never present a single center of gravity.

I spent years training partner forces to dismantle exactly this kind of apparatus. Now pieces of it are standing up in American cities, enabled by elements of local government and civil society. That should keep every thinking American awake at night.

Not because I want escalation. But because history shows these things don’t de-escalate on their own once the infrastructure exists and the cadre believe they’re winning the information war.

We either recognize what we’re actually looking at—or we pretend it’s still just “activism” until the structures harden and spread.

Your call, America. But from where I sit, this isn’t January 2026 politics anymore.
It’s phase one of something we’ve spent decades trying to keep off our own soil.

Isn’t it obvious by now that the seditious mischief roiling Minneapolis is some kind of a demonstration project for a China-backed overthrow of the whole country? This is not hard. And, apparently, the Democratic Party is either a willing accomplice or a hostage in thrall to its captor — like Patty Hearst, the heiress kidnapped and bamboozled by psychotic Maoist maniacs who styled themselves the Symbionese Liberation Army, until she was happily making bombs and robbing banks with them (and ended up in prison).

Ronald J. Ward చెప్పారు...

If you want an honest debate Hump (yeah, right), where do you want to start?

How about with honesty, or lack of, itself. For example, why the firehose of lies from top officials right after the shooting? Even if that’s a bit strong, I think we can both agree they were profoundly wrong. And why did Vance and Miller lie (or were and still are wrong) that ICE agents had immunity from their actions when legally they do not.

I don’t think Vance or Miller were trying to convince judges and I don’t think Bovine and Neom even cared if they’d later be proven full of it. I think they were signaling that they had ICE’s back, that they can beat and kill with abandon and they’d be there to lie for them, protect them, regardless of the truth.

That’s what it looks like to me, just to be honest.

narciso చెప్పారు...

Singham’s father, Archibald, was a Sri Lankan poly-sci prof at Brooklyn College, specializing in Third World revolution; his mother was a Cuban-born Marxist. Singham founded a software development company called Thoughtworks in 1993, and sold it to a London-based private equity firm, Apax, for $785-million in 2017, after which he devoted himself to the cause of “dismantling capitalism,” and destroying the USA. If ever there was a James Bond villain come to life, it’s Neville Roy Singham.

It’s already known that some of that money found its way into Democratic Party coffers. How much of it landed in the bank accounts of Minnesota politicians and administrative officials? Joe Scarborough is trying to create a postmodern Tet Offensive shooting pic:

https://x.com/ScarboroughNow/status/2015591696851997085

The photo does look ugly: the offender is literally on his knees, while a standing BP agent shoots him in the upper back or head. But it is a freeze frame - we are deprived of knowing even what happened right before and right after.

But in other ways, the photo is not that bad for CBP: it shows the agent firing from behind at a bent-over offender, which means he can't see everything going on in the offender's front. And, based on the videos, this is happening after the "Gun!" call. Does the agent have to wait until a gun comes out and the offender spins around to shoot him or one of his mates, or just fires blindly over his shoulder? No.

And of course the still photo does not include the constant PHWEEEEEET!!!! soundtrack, or the continual random people running through the scene.

But anyway, like the Tet photo, it won't change anyone's mind. Even moreso now, that no one has to rely on the monopoly feed of Cronkite and the WaPo. CC, JSM

Broken leftists are manipulated by their corrupt party.

Violent confrontations by radicals and rage-fueled neo-nazi leftist only occur in corrupt run democratic cities.

Oh also, the agent is firing one-handed. Cops train to shoot pistols two-handed on the range for nearly all engagements. One-handed firing is for very close range and very short reaction time. My agency didn't shoot one-handed stages for most of my career - when we changed, I had to grab my belt with my left hand to keep from instinctively bringing it up to the gun.

The agent shooting one-handed supports the proposition that this was an instantaneous reaction to a threat, not a cold-blooded execution. CC, JSM

If it was as claimed, they wouldn’t have to manipulate the video.

BTW, Nguyen Ngoc Loan, the RVN police chief who shot the VC in that pic, emigrated here and ran a restaurant in the Virginia DC suburbs. INS actually tried to deport him back to unified commie VN as a "war criminal" until JC himself intervened (Jimmy Carter, not the other JC - but almost as miraculous!). CC, JSM

Here are the three replies I received from actual military / operators, addressing la Dookie’s claimed gun and military friends who talk about guns for hours and killing ‘zombies’:

‘🤣’

‘Is that some French fairy?’

‘Sounds like some soldier of fortune mag subscriber. We shoot, train, and never talk.’

la Dookie has a strong fantasy life…
