I found what I was looking for: a really good sleep! Woke up at 7:52, which was 8:52 yesterday, though I generally wake up around 6:00, which would be 5:00 today, and I was really dreading that. :)
Just as the video was ending, the boat carrying Al Neri and Fredo appeared.
Notice that at least 2 of those people were in the water up to their knees and one was splashing water on his upper body. It was cold enough that there was heavy frost on the ground.
Maybe they were making a cam girl video for some guy who likes U2 and goose bumps.
Nothing like cold--really cold--water straight from the pump to wake one up on a frosty morn. We used to visit a friend's family's land near Corinth Missippi, and wash outside even in the cold weather. Bracing is the word. (We would have taken hot showers if the two little houses had been plumbed, but they never were . . . )
I failed to do any clock-prep last night and was awakened by my alarm an hour early. I'm usually not here this early and am struck again at how much commentary comes in overnight.

That app maximizes counting down the remaining sunlight but it doesn't display the "sun time" as a percentage that can take the place of the o'clock time. With the app I chose, I can see that the sun time right now is 30.1%.
There was an Isthmus article, years ago, that included a bit about our "take charge" choir director and the use of that U2 song, with a segue to "Open the Eyes of My Heart." I was there that morning and while that was a bit different from our usual worship routine, it made perfect sense to me.

Beasts @8:17, I'm looking for exactly the same thing... and still not finding it. The thing I failed to grasp about knee replacement was how long things like, "You'll probably be doing all your normal activities by 3 months" are when you've never been seriously laid up or slowed down... and you're not yet quite halfway to three months.
But right now I'd settle for one normal night's sleep (only waking up two or three times is my normal).
In other news, the Coca Cola variant flagged in the early aughts, Blak, and rebooted for a minute in like 2022, Coke and Coffee, is probably something I should have tried at the time. I had some ice cubes made of leftover coffee in the freezer and am having a diet Coke over them to try to cut through my fog, and it's surprisingly tasty - at least in my current circumstances.
OTC caffeine pills, in judicious moderation, are effective and convenient. Available on the Amazon portal.
I had an interesting exchange with Grok Saturday evening. I asked for sunrise and sunset times for Saturday and Sunday, both Eastern Time Zone. GROK insisted that the Sunrise times were 7:30 AM Saturday and 7:31 AM Sunday. Grok reasoned that resetting the clock at 2:00 AM was overridden by a "jump". Each time I changed the prompt, Grok would produce a table with date across top and events down the side. I regret not copying the answer (Go LA Dodgers).
This morning at 6:31 AM, the sun rose an hour earlier than Grok insisted on. I asked the same question this morning and Grok returned proper answer.
This is my third problem with Grok.
1. Question about Lola Montez said she moved to Paris circa 1844 and took (among others) a newspaper publisher as a lover. The next sentence said the publisher died in a duel in 1835. Grok's response...Sources vary.
2. A question about a Japanese troop ship sinking in 1944, Grok described the troop ship as escorting a destroyer. I pointed out the reverse was true ... Grok said That makes more sense.
